Rutger will be running more no huddle this year. Like others said though, it isnt fast paced no huddle, they run it to prevent the defense from being able to make substitutions.

I'm not sure exactly how EA programed it, but most no-huddle teams do so in certain situations. like if they complete a big play, they might go no-huddle to try and keep up the momentum. or they do it to change the pace of the game, or take advantage of a mismatch in the defense. there are many different situation that they would.

Re: TOO MANY NO-HUDDLES

Part of the problem is that EA didn't distinguish between no-huddle and hurry-up. Teams that are truly "no-huddle" literally never huddle. Never. Auburn is a good example of this. However, they will change the pace throughout the course of the game. Often, maybe 40-50% of the time, they will get to the line and snap as soon as they can. But sometimes they slow it down too. It depends on what the defense is doing and what kind of changes the coaches want to run with. EA really needs to implement this variable speed better in future games.

With the no-huddle done so much, you don't know what is the best time to set for the game to get true number of plays and stats.

I am thinking about simming a dynasty week when I get the game. A week where there is not much FCS action and then counting all the offensive plays for all the teams and finding out what the high, low, and average is because like you said. With the different tempos it could be hard to determine what a good game length would be.
