I'm having a similar problem with my Big East setup. Any ideas?

Div #1
Buffalo, Central Florida, Louisville, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia

Div #2
Boston College, Cincinnati, Miami, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Temple

North/South didn't work with the teams I wanted in the conference, so I did them based on rivalries mostly. With protected rivalries on, I only lose two rivalries with this setup (VT/BC and PITT/SYR), so not bad in my opinion. But now I'm struggling on division teams. I thought about Gridiron/Hardwood like mentioned earlier in the thread, but having VT in a hardwood division and Temple in a gridiron division seems off.
