Gamestop cares very little. The minute you preorder anything, money in the bank. Gains interest. They give zero amount of ****.

1. Gamestop is not going to give $20 to buyers.

2. You can go pull your pre-order at any time. They give you your money back, unless they've changed their policy.

They don't give you cash back. They give you a gift card or whatever. But you can always just pick-up the game you've pre-ordered, then returned it unopened for the cash back.

See, there's your way around it. A little extra work, but I doubt you lose $20 in gas and effort. But it means giving up the precious jerseys... which will just be DLC later on.

Wait, are you sure they won't give you your cash back after pre-ordering a game and then canceling it? I have done this plenty of times. If you pay with cash you should get cash back.
