That's pretty impressive. I've gotten to #1 with one 4* in my ULM dynasty. I did take a shot at a 5* QB and managed to get to #2 on his list but I never really got close to signing him as he commited to LSU in week 7.

AA difficulty!

Impressive... As Western Michigan Year 3 I have nailed 2 4* and 20 3*. I also set the NCAA single game rushing record against EMU...

I did this with my second year at TTU... But I was in Texas so a little different I guess.

I wasn't totally skeptical, the past few years I have been doing this with small schools checking out which 4* players are being ignored, and going after them, and by throwing the boat at them it isn't suprising to land them, its basically a strategy if going for quality over quantity in recruiting

In the first year of my East Dillon dynasty (one-star school, Texas), I was able to grab three 4-star WRs and about 8 more 3-star players. At the beginning of the year I had just a few 3-stars interested, but in week 3 I found guys that hadn't been offered yet (in Texas only).

I was shocked I was able to get all of them on All-American recruiting difficulty - my pitches are a little better than most one-star schools, but it was a coup for sure. No promises made.

In year 2 I had one 4-star player interested in me from the beginning.

This is one of the great recruiting strategies on College Hoops 2k8. Find guys who have no offers, and go nuts recruiting them.

I've tried it on NCAA, but I never get lucky. They never start to have interest in me no matter what.

Props man. I have to put recruiting on freshmen because I'm horrible at it, and I still struggle to pull in 4 and 5 stars with 6 prestige schools. Guess I need to start looking for people getting no attention from other schools.
