You read that right. State not University. With little tiny 1* Arkansas State I nabbed one of the top recruits.

This is one thing I have always wondered... If there is a recruit that has no scholarship towards the end of recruiting... and your not on his list, but offer his a scholarship.. wouldn't the recruit take the scholarship? I mean I know he could try and walk on at one of the school he likes... but the thing is, Its a free ride and I imagine 90% of the kids would take it.

Yeah, I just think it kinda should.. Especially if you are... UT or OU and have a high academic prestige.. I would take a free ride for football to a school thats not on my list for the education... but thats me...

Apparently the only reason Mustain went to Arkansas is could Texas and other schools didn't like how he scrambled. Even if a guy has 4 or 5*'s from a recruiting doesn't mean schools will go crazy to sign him.
