I got sucked in for NCAA 12. The Coach Carousel thing got me, but I ended up not buying the game.

I always get suckered into buying it on the launch day. I WILL wait this time though. There's no sense in buying the game without named rosters IMO and that's why I'm waiting. There's no way I'll be able to wait for the first patch though. That will take months IMO. At least based on EA's history.

There's always an issue that has to be patched to be playable. That will take months for the first patch to come out. I'll probably pick it up in October.

but seriously, why the complaints. are the problems more frequent and glaring than they were in earlier versions of the game?

I don't smoke or drink alcohol, so I've always got $65 to blow in the middle of July, so I'll always get it on release day & be pumped for it to boot

(unless hell freezes over & aubrin becomes a consistent championship contender, then maybe I'll start payin' more attention to gymnastics lmao)

I do, but NCAA 12 was the tipping point. It should have been better. Instead it seems like a step backward. All those bad patches and the botched gameplay really killed my enthusiasm for the series. I'm sure I'll get the urge in July, though.

Same here. I've bought NCAA every year since NCAA 2002. NCAA 13 is the first game I don't plan on buying. We'll see if I resist the urge.
