Didn't it have to do with Texas not wanting to fold the Longhorn Network in with the Pac-12 Networks?

That as well, I heard they were probably going to just accept OK, OKst, and Tech, get some mid major program or BCS buster like Nevada or Boise State and let Texas go Independent.

But on another I read an article saying Notre Dame would probably join the Big East as a full member after 2015 along with Navy and Army.

With the way the Big (L)East is going, somehow I think the Big XII is more likely. Last year, I wanted them to go to the ACC, but if it's true that FSU & Clemson are trying to get into the Big XII, the ACC wouldn't be much better. Definitely don't want them in the B1G though.

If Notre Dames move to the Big 12 1. They will have no rivals whatsoever. 2. With all the rivals they do have they'd only be able to play 3 to 2 non-conference games every year which would most likely be Michigan/Mich St., USC and Navy every year.

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment

I've heard Texas & ND have started talking about playing annually (in place of the old rivalry with A&M). Also, if FSU joins the Big XII (as well as possibly Miami- though they're not nearly as likely), there would be another rival or two (though their rivalries with the 'Noles and 'Canes have been comatose since the early '90s, but it's something).

Well there you go then, plus Notre Dame would WAY benefit the Big 12 rather than Louisville.

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment

I've finished my "What If?" Re-Alignment. I also consolidated all of my re-alignments into one google doc, so that I don't have to share them separately anymore.

Plus sir you do know that you actually have to get an invite from an interested conference before you can join right? lol.
