Re: The "why I love NCAA 14 three years later" thread

Just popped in Madden 17 and tried it out. Great graphics and physics, but good lord, the post play animations take FOREVER. Even pressing "x" doesn't seem to speed it up...you're gonna wait and wait while they replay and zoom in on guys etc etc. I wound up accidentally picking plays repeatedly because I was trying to get through the post play animations.

It makes me love NCAA even more...it may be old but at least it gets on with the game. It doesn't make you wait 30 seconds between every play.

Good, give me a real broadcast feel. Let me be able to x out of course, but give it to me. Go online if you want to click click click through a 20 minute game.

Don't get me wrong, a broadcast feel is cool. When a game takes an hour though, those long cut scenes get tiresome. If I was able to just tap x and skip them faster, it wouldn't bother me at all. I enjoy a broadcast feel, but sometimes its nice to get to the actual game play.

I do like how unless there's a replay, the cut scenes in NCAA 14 are nice and quick and really add to the game...to me.

But again, Madden 17 is a VERY nice game and the addition of CPU vs. CPU is a problem for me. Now, I have to split time between a CFM and my Akron CPU vs. CPU dynasty.

Hmmm, let me go watch our next game against Ball State...

As of right now, I'm enjoying my coach mode/CPU vs CPU dynasty on NCAA more than Madden 17. Seems overly difficult for someone who games without user input and I'm not a slider guy
