What if the modes that didn't make the jump were left out because they concentrated on GAMEPLAY???

Wouldn't that be a worthwhile trade?

Would be a fair trade off. I'm not into modes anyways LOL. The Playbooks thing though that kinda bothers me. There is some really nice stuff in the new playbooks man. Defense has some good stuff there. That's what I'll really miss on 360. But the old stuff will have to suffice I suppose.

Using satellites (where and when EA got satellites I have no idea and they wouldn't tell me), the crew at EA Sports was able to capture the exact sun position for every stadium, including latitude, longitude, time (including daylight savings time), and temperature differences throughout the year. This translates into the kind of dynamic lighting that gives the game the most photorealistic nature of any sports title I've seen to date. You'll see the sun in its accurate location in the sky for every game, dropping the realistic shadows throughout the stadium. It's the first time playing in January actually feels like playing in January as you watch the cloudy sky turn dark and the rain drench the field as time progresses and you're driving for that game-winner. Even if you're only playing five minute quarters, the lighting and weather will change like it would for a three hour game in South Bend.
EA been working with NASA!

It would be a very fair trade!I care about gameplay first and then everything else second. If NCAA 2007 plays like the first Madden 360 I will be very dissapointed, the gameplay needs to be smooth like in NCAA 2004 and 2006.JMHO.

Many tradeoffs to consider. Playbooks and generic stadiums, or actually getting to play in the improved Horseshoe or Big House? Magazine covers are decent, but I could go without. All-time teams, eh. They always had problems with the uniforms and the class of the players anyways. Dynasty is intact. I guess I'll wait and see.

Re: IGN NCAA '07 XBOX360: FIRST LOOK

Gameplay is always king, just though accurate playbooks that represent the teams would improve that. We'll have to wait and see what happens. The graphics are top notch and the lighting effects always impress me. It adds to the atmosphere and sucks you in. The added ratings sound good, but where the f is ESPN. At least there is a dynasty ticker which is sweet to me. I know programming is hard, but why can none of the sports game developers use the power of the 360 to the fullest?

Looks good to me as long as the sim engine is good and they improved the the Madden 360 gameplay I'm good. Especially considering how good these stadiums are said to be.
