I'd love the option to turn off wide open game play in nexts years game... Along with CPU sliders that actually work - EA would have a winner.

Remember the NCAA Demo? Remember how everyone raved about it? Remember how many people started saying how it was a release day purchase for them based on their experience with the demo? Now where are we? People went out and purchased the game based on a demo, which had some issues itself. The demo, however, barely scratched the surface relative to the bugs and issues with this game.

Based on this - as well as EA's history plus the fact that Madden 08 left a lot to be desired -why on earth would anyone even entertain the idea of pre-ordering - let alone buying outright - Madden, or even Head Coach, for that matter, without renting it first?

Until people stop doing this, I just don't know if we're going to see the results we are hoping for.

You, my friend are exactly right, just imagine this if Madden comes out this year and takes a 40%-50% drop in sales on release day from the broken game that was 08. Can you imagine the features and awesome game play that would be madden 2010 they would blow the house down.

Not exactly. Madden and HC are $60 separately, and $90 in the Madden CE. So you're spending $150 on 3 games (2 if you subtract NCAA).

Yeah, I've never understood that at all.

Strike one: EA devs admit to leaving out key sim features like running angles and blocking to make ncaa feel different than madden.

Strike two: EA devs call there customers "beta testers"...

Strike three: EA devs admit to knowing several issues with the game BEFORE THE GAME CAME OUT AND RELEASE IT ANYWAY.

Foul balls include...
Some random guy stating "they don't have to fix it"...

Some random guy saying "you just suck at the game"...

Some fanboy getting mad because somebody asked an obvious question...

Some random guy who will quote my post saying "I am tired of comments like this" or "Malek05 all you do is blah blah blah..."

The dev guy acting like all hell will break loose if he is "misquoted promising blah blah blah." First of all, if you take the entire football gaming community (those people who buy football games), maybe like...7% of them actually even know this place exist, or go to any online forums period. I know about 25 people who play madden and ncaa...and I am the only one who has ever heard of OS...so this "oh know i can't say because i will be misquoted" thing is ridiculous...because, in the grand scheme of things, almost no one will know...or care...or really thins an actual patch is coming...

Second of all, you released a game that you knew already had issues with it, and that's the stuff you've patched so far, none of that has anything to do with actual football mechanics and gameplay. Online dynasty is broken. Last year madden's dynasty was broken. A patch was released for ps3 and IT CAUSED THE GAME TO NOT EVEN BOOT. The damage has been done...how much worse could it get? I mean, the sliders don't work...THE MECHANISM THAT IS SUPPOSE TO ALLOW ME TO GET A "SIM EXPERIENCE" OUT OF THE GAME DOESN'T WORK. So now all sim gamers are just pretty much held ransom until a patch comes out. So you took their money, and now they have to wait until you actually fix the game to allow them to enjoy it. Extremely shady, maybe even borderline illegal, and you are worried about being "misquoted"? HA HA...HA HA HA...

Doesn't that sand burn when it gets in your mouth, eyes, and nose...how do you wash it out of your hair...doesn't it burn your face...

5 stars for this extremely flammable, mod blood pressure rising, potentially OS career ending post...
