Whatever they do, I just hope they don't try to get cute again and take out Tournament Mode.

It's the only alternative to a Season Mode in FIFA games.

And no......Connected Career is not the same. We learned that from Madden.

The fact they haven't done it yet is embarrassing. Madden and even NHL have been doing it for years.
