We created the chances but couldn't convert them until Cowan-Hall dribbled along the end line into the box and pulled it back for Kretzschmar to score. Agonizingly Rowe and Scowen got in a mix-up at the front post and failed to deal with a cross. Tubbs was there to volley in from the six yard box leaving Ingram with no chance of saving it. Sky Bet FL2: Match 8 Stevenage 0-2 Wycombe P. Murphy 30' Evans 61' Motm: Nathan Evans (WYC, 8.0) Young Nathan Evans was immense today on the left wing. We dominated with our 4-1-2-1-2 wide and Peter Murphy headed in Evans' corner on 30 minutes. The game was sealed 30 minutes later when Evans' shot was deflected off Worley leaving the keeper no chance as he had already dived the other way. Then Shrewsbury occupy the last playoff spot so we will be aiming to take all three points at home to them. To end the month we have a Round of 16 tie away at Villa Park where we will put up a fight but I don't expect to go through. Targeted Points: 13/15 and Progression in J. Paint Trophy. Conclusion Well, that was an up and down month. Unfortunately after five more games we have dropped down to 9th from 5th. We did however advance two rounds in the COC so that is an upside to the month. There was two goalless draws which were both disappointments and I felt we should have taken three points from both of those games. The loss to Mansfield was also a shock and again we should have done better. Wimbledon were tough but their goal was down to a defensive mistake which hurts even more. The win at Stevenage was good however. After this month I think we played our best football using the 4-1-2-1-2 Wide so that will be the main formation going forward. It was used in most of the games this month unless otherwise stated. The players have seen a nice bit of growth which is pleasing. Although Matt McClure (59 Ovr, ST, 22) refused a contract extension last month and still won't and wants to move. Like you pointed out this was a real up and down month. You did a fine job in the CO Cup but you weren't that good in league play. At least you are still close to the top five.

Copa Europe Chelsea 0 - 1 Inter Icardi 40' MOTM De Gea We didn’t play our strongest team because we have our first Serie A game of the season in two days time against Juventus, but we preformed well and came away with a good win. We had five new players making their debuts plus an other one that just came back from loan. All of them impressed me, but Layun and De Gea were the two stand out player of the new signings. Layun has an abundance of pace and stamina so we was up and down the left side of the pitch all game and defended Cuadrado brilliantly. De Gea made several key saves and kept a good clean sheet with 5 saves. Icardi scored a brilliant goal when he recieved his back to goal turned a defender and ball rolled around Courtois and then walked into the goal. Chelsea pressed a lot but their shots either went wide or De Gea was up to the challenge. Glad to win a trophy early in the season and give us a mental boost. League Match Juventus 1 - 6 Inter Shaqiri 17' Palacio 50' Depay 75' 81' 83' 90' Tevez (PEN) 88' MOTM Depay A HUGE win for us against Juventus, who will most likely be our biggest title rivals. The first half looked very even but in the second half we dominated. Shaqiri opened the scoring with a well struck free kick from the edge of the box that went perfectly to the bottom corner where Buffon only watched it go in. Palacio had the second goal when he was played over and he slid to just barely poke the ball past Buffon. Fifteen minutes before full time Depay received the ball and dribbled 3 defenders and then smashed it past Buffon to the back post. Depay got his second from a through ball and ended up 2v1 with the keeper and faked a pass across the goal and then pass it into the net. His third goal be just ran past the last defender and then struck a powerful shot past Buffon at his near post. Juventus would get one back when Tevez went 1v1 with Juan Jesus in the box who pulled him down for a penalty. We scored our final goal in the last minute after Depay was played through out wide and cut in to rifle the ball to the back post. Depay had a fantastic first game back from injury. I was expecting a much closer game than what actually happened. Juve just fell apart in the second half and Depay went crazy. I was very happy with the result and that is now our biggest win since I took over. The game against Chelsea was much more difficult and I was happy to see our B Team beat them and the new recruits making an impact. I can’t believe Barcelona bought another goalkeeper from us and for $100,000,000! They offered $35,000,000 and I countered for $100,000,000 and they accepted, I was amazed. I knew we could get a good replacement plus more and that is what we did. De Gea was excellent in his first two games and unless we receive another astronomical fee he will be staying. I wish we could have gotten him for less wages but he really didn't want to leave Manchester United and he was my number one target to replace Leno. Bernd Leno is now the most expensive goalkeeper in history, Buffon is closest with a fee of around $49,000,000. This transfer window was about bolstering the squad so we can challenge on all fronts. David De Gea was the only player to go straight into the first team but the others will have chances to prove themselves. Also we sent our scout to scout for wingers in Italy. I'm also a bit surprised that you didn't splash the cash on some amazing players but instead you signed squad depth. Can and Gabriel are interesting signings. Then you completely destroyed Juve in the league game. Your CL group shouldn't be too tough.

By the way, what do you guys think about (some of) women's national teams being in FIFA 16? If I'm completely honest, I think it's pretty pointless. There are only about fifteen teams and you can't use them in game modes apart from kickoff and offline tournaments. I think it will cool to use them once or twice but it's not good enough from EA. Especially when this will probably be the only major change in FIFA 16 compared to 15. On top of that there are many things that EA need to fix first.

Allo, gents. Scandinavia has to be one of the most amazing places I've ever been. I loved Sweden, and now I'm in Norway. Absolutely brilliant place. Caught up with one of my old friends here in Bergen, and he took me to this cafe that serves the most incredible open-faced sandwiches. Must be 100 varieties, mostly involving some sort of seafood or cured meat.

It's a wonderful move that's obviously targeting the increasing demographic of women gamers. A lot of the sexist reactions have been disgusting. Personally I think if you don't care for it, your way of saying so is a lot nicer than making misogynistic jokes. But I do feel that it's a good step in the right direction, but I also agree that there are other parts of the game that require attention. But apparently the development of the female player model has helped improve overall movement and gameplay, so that should be good if it's true.

On another note, I have a question for you guys. In my career with Parma, I will be losing Alessandro Lucarelli (retiring), plus Francesco Lodi, Antonio Nocerino and Silvestre Varela (all on loan) at the end of the season. All of them are major players (15+ appearances in 18 games so far), and replacing them is going to be tough. I have another 2-3 signings that need to be made in the summer, so that's about 6-7 players I have to buy. I won't have takeover-level cash next season, so it's going to be tight.

My question: How many free transfers do you think are fair for me to make out of 6-7 signings, with 4 important players leaving for nothing at the end of the season?

Sergio Rico would be perfect for that. He's young, cheap, and he has some potential. He should cost under €3 million. Vicente Iborra 78 Ovr Iborra would the perfect CDM for the team. Javi Fuego is decreasing and he likes to get a bit forwards and meanwhile Geoffrey Kondogbia is way too attacking minded and he hasn't grown at all. I'll try to loan Kondogbia out and sell Fuego. Iborra would replace them in the starting eleven. He's strong, tall, good tackler, everything I want from a CDM. His price tag is somewhere around ten million. Asier Illarramendi 79 Ovr Another defensive-minded midfielder who's on my shortlist is Illarra. The young Spaniard has been out of favour at the Bernabeu and I think he would be an improvement in the middle of the pitch for us. If we want to sign him we need to pay about fifteen million. Carlos Bacca 81 Ovr I've mentioned a few times that I don't like Paco Alcacer at all. Now it's time to reveal his replacement targets. The first one, and the cheaper one, is Carlos Bacca, another player from Sevilla. He's a clinical finisher who has got a good combination of speed and strength. Ideally we would get him in a swap deal for free. Jackson Martinez 83 Ovr The other striker candidate is Jackson Martinez (who's also linked with Valencia irl). He's a bit better than Bacca and he's dominant in the air but he would be more expensive. His high wages would also be a problem. It would be amazing if we got him in a straight swap deal. It's tight at the top. Surprisingly, Atletico Madrid are nowhere to be found! But you've done well for yourself, and I think a couple of signings in January will solidify your title charge. Not sure why you want to jumble up your keeper selection midway, but hey it's your career. I'm sure you won't be affected too much even if you choose to. In midfield, I would go with Illaramendi simply because it's a much more realistic transfer. He's been sidelined completely at Real Madrid, and a move to the current league leaders is a very realistic scenario. Up top, I would go with Bacca. You should be able to get him for 20 million or so unless he's in good form, and I prefer him to Jackson simply because he feels so much more fluid. Another striker I think you should look at is Mauro Icardi, who is going to cost a bomb but will serve you well for years and years (or until you sell him for 100 mil to PSG).

I think that 4 would be fair to replace the 4 that you are losing.

In relation to the women teams in '16. I think it is a good thing, but it should have been down the list of priorities. Things like the Youth Academy, transfers etc. Need to be fixed first.

I HOPE EA actually do fix those things, yet making a trailer about "Fixed Youth Academy!" isn't going to catch the public eye. This womens football team is more about getting women involved in FIFA and such, which isn't a bad idea.

We can all pray that EA get their stuff together and make CM a lot better this year.

I agree with you on every count. Yes, it is only 12 teams but it's a step in the right direction. If they had the WSL in a future FIFA I would definitely do a career in it. Personally, I probably won't use it much this time but 40% of the US FIFA players are female. I think it's about time they got to play as someone of their own gender.
