Making Them Dream
Season 1
FIFA 15

Squad Analysis

GK: Joe Hart: 83
40 Apps, 16 Clean Sheets
A brilliant keeper. Was shaky to start with but as the season went on he solidified and became the rock I now know and love. He made a crucial save to deny Rodriguez late on in the Champions League final, along with an amazing save to deny Diouf against Stoke. His place is secure and will not be replaced.

RB: Nathaniel Clyne: 76
43 Apps, 2 Goals
Bought in January as the answer to our right back troubles, he has been just that. He had Bale in his back pocket for the whole Champions League final and handled Ronaldo well when they switched wings. Advanced well and has a decent pass on him and he also got us up and running against Besiktas.

CB: Aymeric Laporte: 84
38 Apps, 4 Goals
A great header on him and has scored from corners a few times. A rock at the back and just 21 years old. He will be in this back four for years to come. He cost quite a bit at the start of the season, but he really helped sure up our defensive frailties.

CB: Dejan Lovren: 80
40 Apps
Not so impressive. He was OK, don't get me wrong and on occasions he was a master class. For instance, he held Falcao in his back pocket for 60 minutes against United, and then Van Persie when Falcao went off. He has a great header but his tackling isn't what it should be. Not secure.

LB: Alberto Moreno: 79
33 Apps, 3 Goals, 2 Assists
Brilliant. Strong at a full back but on occasion is caught out of position. However, he is great at tackling and has started many the attack. He also scored the volley from 30 yards against Bayern.

CDM: Steven Gerrard: 82
37 Apps, 1 Goal, 5 Assists
Played less of an advanced role for me. His job was to stay back and cut off passing channels which he did very well. The perfect leader for our side and will stay here till he retires. 35 years old and going strong, however he may take a back seat to younger talent next season. I am undecided.

CM: Adam Lallana: 80
37 Apps, 6 Goals, 6 Assists
Came into the first team ahead of Henderson at some point in the season and hasn't caused me to look back. Brilliant on the ball, outstanding dribbling and passing along with a decent shot. I will always remember when he cut inside and thundered it into the near post.

CM: Coutinho: 81
42 Apps, 8 Goals, 2 Assists
Amazing running, brilliant creatively and was in the right place at the right time on many occasions. However, he is homesick so I may have to let him go. If the right price comes in, I will.

CAM: Raheem Sterling: 81
37 Apps, 7 Goals, 4 Assists
Wasn't great in his central role, but towards the end it appeared as though the was starting to bed in there. Great vision and his dribbling is second to none. He can skip past players like they weren't even there and scored the third against Besiktas.

ST: Daniel Sturridge: 84
37 Apps, 20 Goals, 9 Assists
A brilliant striker. Pacey, lost his selfishness and could finish brilliantly. Made a formidable partnership with Mario, scoring 14 league goals. He curled in the goal to put us in the final and curled in the equaliser against Madrid to take it to extra-time. Hopefully, not going anywhere.

ST: Mario Balotelli: 83
48 Apps, 23 Goals, 11 Assists
Outstanding. Took a while to bed in but when he did he was amazing. A touch of class and flair to our line up. Strong, the target man of my team, he has some finish. 15 league goals, but also the goal of the season. The 40 yard curler against Besiktas. Scored 2 in the Champions League final, and the second was particularly beautiful.

Substitutes

ST: Rickie Lambert: 76
29 Apps, 12 Goals, 6 Assists
A great target man, more willing to find the pass than score himself. He made a partnership with Morata in the second team that was brilliant.

LB/RB: Jon Flanagan: 75
18 Apps, 2 Assists
Started the season great but dropped off the form and Moreno came back from injury and then Clyne was signed. Will probably be loaned out.

ST: Fabio Borini: 77
6 Apps, 1 Goal
Not to bad. His only goal put us in the semi finals of the Champions League. The lone striker of my reserve squad.

CM: Joe Allen: 78
23 Apps, 3 Goals, 3 Assists
The Welsh magician. Brilliant passing and good tackling but not much else to be quite honest. A good backup player.

CM: Jordan Henderson: 78
28 Apps, 6 Goals, 1 Assist
Dropped out of form an was replaced by Lallana, however ended up scoring whenever he played with the second team. He won't sign a contract and will probably be sold but that 120th minute header will always be remembered.

CB: Mamadou Sakho: 81
21 Apps, 2 Goald, 2 Assists
Not much to say really...

RM: Lazar Markovic: 79
30 Apps, 6 Goals, 2 Assists
Excellent at cutting inside and curling in. Will be kept, possibly loaned out to fulfil his potential.

Reserves

CM: Jordan Rossiter: 61
3 Apps

CAM: Cameron Brannagan: 62
3 Apps, 1 Assist

RB: Manquillo: 71
5 Apps, 1 Assist

RM/LM: Joel Campbell: 78
25 Apps, 3 Goals, 1 Assist

RM: Suso: 74
13 Apps, 1 Goal, 2 Assists

ST: Morata: 78
21 Apps, 5 Goals, 5 Assists
On loan.

LB: Jose Enrique: 79
25 Apps, 2 Goals, 2 Assists
Leaving.

GK: Brad Jones: 71
20 Apps, 10 Clean Sheets

CB: Gary Cahill: 81
35 Apps, 1 Goal, 1 Assist

RB: Glen Johnson: 76
27 Apps
Leaving

CB: Kolo Toure: 77
7 Apps
Leaving

I would invest in Youth Scouts where as Simppu went and spent on some big names. I had the same thing earlier. I want to a Swansea manager at some point and I think Simppu said he also wanted to do a career with them. We both will at some point and my career will probably be way different than his.
Ye ill probably do that, I wont post this Career mode that much anyway, so i guess itll' be fine, Ima do some big signings but not to much and defenitly not the players he signed.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I've literally just finished the January transfer window on my Spurs career but don't have time to update it tonight as I don't have the standings nor the complete list of ins and outs at the club so I will wait till tomorrow evening UK time to unveil the progression of Tottenham in January. I must say I'm quite happy with my business in January, although I did miss out on my main target as Chelsea snatched him away fro me

Digging this CM, an up-and-coming team in the BPL, definitely a challenge. Decent start, what are your goals for this season? Europa League? Champions'?

Indy, you're giving me too much man! I'm trying to read and respond to these while I'm at work and you gave me a bible I do love the West Brom challenge though and I see you have have some mixed scores and there's a lot of work to be done. Also all that writeup but no standings? I'm a sad rabbit.

********
Solarios, you went through that Wigan CM so fast I couldn't even catch up. I think by the time you were done there was already a Messi regen in the game lol

********
Tex, nice to see you're still going at with Morecambe. Honestly last season you were already giving me some glimpses of the form you reached at Deportivo, success in this CM isn't too far out.
