I hesitated to post it in the community thread but I was not sure if what I was experiencing was mostly due to the set I am using, but apparently no.
I will rather post on the community thread to ease track, but as I have said going back to slider is really p***ing me off...

I really have that 1.04 feel, very arcady ball moving around.

After few games on default (+5) I can say that default is more challenging that the current set but the overall pace (on slow) and the drilling passes are very unrealistic and annoying at long. The way CPU attack with those drilled passes has nothing to do with football, it looks like Hockey players sending a puck on ice. It is very hard to follow with the eyes. Also this one touch shot really feels like a regression.

So I have decided to start from the set and try to see if it can be improved to make it more difficult.

The first thing I have done is increasing Marking to 70/70. Increasing marking usually result in a more enterprising CPU offensively (so does lowering FT I think). Very few games tasted so far but I don't see obvious defensive drawback so far, instead the cpu seems to try more to be first on the ball and games have effectively been harder.

I think lines might need to be adjusted. The last patch has pushed up pitch the defensive line and now the defense is so high that space in the back of the defense becomes to easily exploitable. I will probably try reducing height and length to a sum of 10 but keeping length one click above height (H:52/52 and L:53/53) to keep the past set M spirit (for midfield from the community slider thread).
I have played few games also on "player" career mode and it was very obvious there that lines were too compressed but also that width was not used properly (way too narrow). A plus 5 increase in width or more might be required depending of course on where Line H and L are settled.

I have update the set with increased marking from 60/60 to 70/70 as only change. I have just been smashed by chelsea 4-2 in the first leg of the round of 16 of the champions league. So difficulty is definitely there.

I said I would not but I am still exploring a bit.
With the current lines it becomes a bit too easy to exploit space with the wingers. Also there is a bit too much space between the midfield and the defense.

I have decide to try the lines that ricardodc uses (H:65/65; L:50/50; W:50/50) and it worked quite well with the set as posted on the OP (with marking at 70/70).
The game is very combative and somehow passing for the user is more difficult.

I know the hipe is not so much on fifa 16 anymore, but I just wanted to say that the set with the last modifications (see OP) is working fantastically well.
