Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

I played one match with these sliders on All Star Slow speed, PS5 in Kick Off mode.

I must say - I was totally engrossed in the experience! Well done, Sir.

The game was Spurs - Arsenal (8 minute halves) and ended 0-0 with very realistic stats across all categories. But more importantly it just felt right and the sliding / skating is massively reduced, which was my biggest gripe with the game.

Chances were very few but when they presented themselves it felt exciting, just like it should be.

Obviously I need to play some more and also need to try in Career, but these 16 minutes were easily the best video game football experience I've had since early PES.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

well that sucks seeing as my PC is more powerful than a PS5... very strange that we get the "old" gen version. This begs the question: is the oldgen version even worth getting? will the nextgen version be coming to PC at a later stage?

Eventually PC will be next gen but that later stage is not during FIFA 22s life cycle. Maybe '23 *shrug*

Doesn’t sound very realistic.

Ok sorry—had to.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

I’ve tested the v1 of the sliders, feels smooth man, can’t tell how happy I’m with the CPU crossing and taking long shots…

Sometimes I wish they didn’t though.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

Also have only tested V1, will plug V2 in today.

V1 is a revelation for those who disliked FIFA 21. I'm blown away with how much more enjoyable this year is. Some of the AI build up is downright gorgeous. I played Leeds (as United of course), and they really were intelligent in their build up play.

Defenders more aware all over the pitch, lots of pass interceptions and not so many tackles- which is crazy good.

Looks like a lot of the items of concern, are being looked at in V2, so I'll try those out and see what we've got.

Super excited all of a sudden, still on my trial but my finger is itching to push "buy now" for sure.

FYI- zero fouls by AI, I'm going to stop mentioning this as it's just what EA wants clearly, but does sting for us purists who LOVE a good FK specialist.
