Not only that, but I shudder to think of the posts at OS if someone's stick broke late in a tie game against the CPU when they had a goal-scoring opportunity...

Re: Hands on from HF boards

Will we finally be able to jump in a play any matchup in our franchise....lets say I want to play a game of the week type of thing with 2 random league teams or just hop in and play the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs if I wanted to?

One of the greatest things that NBA 2K9 let me do was basically play all the Finals Match up games when my Knicks were pretty much eliminated from contention

Down by one goal....or the other way around.
It would be right up there with Kennedy, the Moon landing, Atlantis and losing to the CPU in The Show.

Be a Pro and EASHL are really all that I play so I'm really looking forward to what differences they made. The precision passing utilizing the boards and the board play seems awesome, now I can actually work the puck around and not just skate up and shoot everytime!

This hands on preview leaves me very excited. I can't count the # of hours I put into NHL 09. It'll probably double with NHL 10. I can't wait. I have heard that the demo may drop on or around August 18th. Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Sounds about right, maybe it will get submitted around then and come out late late Aug. There hasn't been any word on when officially though.
