2. They are 33 and on the last year of their contracts.

3. I need to go all in, I think if I fail to win the cup this year I'm going to get fired, the shakeup seems to have worked wonders so far.

4. I felt Hodgson was getting wasted on the 3rd line, with this trade he is the 2nd line center now(and second on the team in points!)

what is CoHo overall in your Be a gm johnnyrocks? he is 83 in mine now and I had to match an offer sheet the senators put on him this past season (1 year at 3.7 million). I lost Lapierre in free agency to the wild this offseason.
1. I see.. My sedins are doing fairly well, actually their overall has somewhat increased to what? Like a 93-94 right now, amazing, Daniel Sedin pulls off with 51 goals! While Henrik Sedin has 72 Assists. I'm currently in the playoffs :-).

2. I can see with that.

3. I have an extension with 3 years with them, I've had one bad year, (I didn't get 48 wins, I got 47 ).

4. Hodghson right now is 82. His faceoff is a little low so I put him as a winger.

I have an entirely new line up now, I think it's a lot better. To be honest, I got rid of ROberto Loungo for 2 reasons: High Salary, Gettin' old. Cory Scheinder is an 87 overall, so I can live with that. I managed to pick up a new goalie from the wavers lol.

My new Line-up:

D. Sedin(92)-H. Sedin(92)-Ryan(90)
Burrows(84)-Kopitar(89)-Jensen(74) <-- I thought he was looking good lol.
Rodin(81)-Kesler(89)-Rioux(74)
Scrhoeder(81)-Malhotra(83)-Hodgson(82)

THe low 70's have high potential so I'd figured I put them there. I'm not happy with my defense so I don't think I'll put it here. Overall, my offence is 100(wtf). My goalie is low, and so is my defence but I love my offensive ability.

I'd figured the next couple years will help me get to the stanely cup, heck im in the playoffs, so I think I'll do GREAT.

BTW: Those are my line-ups as of now, because I have several players who are injured. I would have more players like Higgins and Kessel, but They are injured

Good grief.. playing against Vancouver is quite stressful.

I made a trade, trying to get more offense trading D Carlo Colaiacovo and two draft picks to Columbus for LW Kristian Huselius and a lower draft pick.

Next game, I'm shutout 1-0 by the Flames.

My record is 2-7-1 and I can't seem to get much scoring. I'm almost thinking about going to auto aim.. but I'll give it another 5 or 6 games first as I like to aim my shots as I feel that's a big part of the game.

Re: NHL 12 "Be A GM" Mode Discussion Thread

I have searched the web for information about Be A GM-mode, but I still can't find out about the draft after the first season, and the seasons to follow.

I played NHL10 and I was so shocked to see ReGen-players getting drafted from Macedonia, Hungary, Slovenia and so on. A feature that ruined the fun of playing, after a couple of seasons.

How is this working on NHL12. Do you draft real players from CHL after the first season? After a couple of years I would assume regen-players start to appear, are these realistic (meaning I don't wanna see any macedonian hockey-players in the NHL)? There should be some swedes, finns, russians, czechs and hopefully a norwegian now and again?

You'll see quite a few Finns/Swedes/Russians/Czechs, but unfortunately there are lots of other nationalities that pop up after the first season or two. There's an absurd amount that seem to be generated from Asian countries. Also the nations you mentioned.

And there is of course no way to remove or in someway be able to avoid these unrealistic draft prospects, joining the league?

Re: NHL 12 "Be A GM" Mode Discussion Thread

Ok, now I'm getting pissed off.. have yet to score another goal in 3 straight games. I think I'm going to start BAGM over and move down to Pro. Either that or try "auto aim"

I don't expect to win every game but going 2-9-1 so far is not very fun (and losing 4-0, 3-0, 5-0, 7-1, etc)

How some of you guys play on SS is beyond me!
