Haha, I think the freezing (and bum framerate) seems largely confined to the PS3 version. Y'all 360 users lucked out!

i have the ps3 version and also have yet to have a single freeze in gameplay. only one i had was one time using custom music when I was setting up a goal song.

The only time I ever had this happen to me was AFTER downloading the patch. It happened in two consecutive OTP matches.

Is it just me, or has the hip checking been fixed. It doesn't work like it used to anymore, in a good way!

lol.. after we downloaded the patch.. we got looped in 3 of 5 games we played in. the other team didnt pause the game or anything, it just looped on its own. all games were tied at 2 when it happened. kudos ea!!

also noticed that the online games have slowed down in speed skating and yeah the hip checking has been drastically been down graded

That was done in the recent tuning update. In EA's words, hip-checking was "disabled" for the time being, with a proper fix to come in a patch.
