"Hockey IQ" Video

I didn't see this posted yet, so figured I'd pass it along. I guess it's sort of a part 2 to the skating video from yesterday. Some decent info focusing on "Hockey IQ"/AI and more random gameplay clips.

Re: "Hockey IQ" Video

different teams play differently - rammer said that EA concentrated more in 13 as compared to the past series. this is one of the "must have" in 13 that i want to see before i buy. this looks promising...but let see if it will deliver

thanks for posting

I think the goalies are looking great. Loving the dynamic vibe to the branching animations.

Re: "Hockey IQ" Video

That First Quick diving save to the left is a bit worrying, wasnt a natural move , looked like an old 2k goalie doing the soccer save, Quick would have been upright and square on that one for sure.
The second Quick save was awesome looking , totally what quickie would have done in that situation.

If these strategies work out to make the teams play different from each other it could be great and the ai changes wont even have to be that good, should make a season playable.

That NZ -> FC bias looks interesting. I assume that means you can play a deeper 1-3-1, for example or have it setup more in the Neutral Zone. Very cool.

Was just going to post something similar. Agreed, I just hope they take the time to set every cpu team to at least be somewhat accurate in this regard if they're not going to let us do so in offline GM mode since it usually limits you to your team only.

Agreed. At the very least, we should be able to set up each team's strategies and import them into a new BeAGM (sort of like when it asks to use current or original rosters).
