Starting back up my Canucks GM Mode!

Semyon Varlamov nets his 2nd shutout of the season as we lose 3-0. Varlamov stopped all 37 shots he faced and was the #1 star of the game.

The Blues head into the All Star break in 3rd place behind Chicago and Colorado in the Central Division and 7th overall in the Western Conference.

Wow. Played an intense game against the Sharks and had an amazing moment. Joe Thornton rips a slapshot that Jimmy Howard just gets a piece of, and the puck goes into the air over Howard and skitters towards the net. Quincy, who was playing the one on one against Thornton, managed to get in behind Howard and SWEEP THE PUCK RIGHT OFF THE GOAL LINE. I must've replayed it about 20 times. Unbelievable. And we got the dub.

What the hell happened here. First game of gm with my canucks. All star default and gave up 36 shots in the first. Changed to pro and you can see what happened in period 2 and 3. Wtf?

Not a good start to the 2nd half of the season as we lose 4-1 to Nashville. I scan the trade blocks.. not much out there that grabs me yet, many are older vet players who might be a good fit, but only at the right price and only if we are in a position to fight for a playoff spot close to the trade deadline.

We head out on the road after a disappointing 3-4 home stand. Maybe we need a road trip, who knows at this point.

Three losses in a row. Carolina hands us a 4-1 loss. We came out hitting and played well in the first period, but we put Carolina on the PP 6 times and they score twice and add two more to send the Blues packing.

Jake Allen was great for a good part of the game, but Carolina took advantage of their PP chances.

Next up we head to Washington to take on Ovechkin and the Capitals.
