I didn't say that. You highlighted that part, but I went on to say that those people doing that are no better than the people that they are constantly fighting with. The same would hold up for those of which who have the bashing agenda no matter what.

However, I do hold more respect for someone that comes right out and admits to their agenda when they say stuff like "I want sales of this game to bomb so that the parent company is forced to deal with the situation" more than I have respect for anyone that keeps reiterating the same stuff over and over again and thinking that they are sly in trying to feed their propaganda for whatever reason.

That is just me though.

I speak out against this game a lot. But I am always sure to say that it is my opinion and back it up with my personal findings and examples if possible. I give credit where credit is due in my impressions though. But at times I, too, am angry with where we are at with this series and what has happened with this release. But I try not to go into every thread and state all of the same things over and over about missing modes and stuff that have been discussed ad nauseum.

My only agenda is to inform. Let people know the facts so that they can make their own decision on the game. If I see a question I try and help out or direct them to an answer.

There are still so many people here that don't understand the game or what is in it or how it works. Let alone the people that haven't been educated on how we have got to this point, what other games did in the past from the same series or how the gaming industry works as a whole. I feel as though my insight and background with the industry, field, and game may be of use to some.

I know man, I was just bugging you. I saw the part about saying that the proponents were no better than the detractors, I just thought it was funny that both examples were of proponents and neither were of the detractors.

I also found it funny that I had just typed the part about more people starting threads complaining about the game when a new thread was created about the terrible play in front of the net.

I was so wrong and heres another tip for you boys this game really needs to be played on near default Allstar as theres more then enough penalties as I like others tweaked this game to death as it plays alot like MLBTS slider wise and a click or two here and there can really mess up the game and NHL 15 is actually really good this year right out of the box !
It does say a lot.

well...the game IS bad...so....yeah. You will have more people kvetching about a product when it is a bad one, it is only natural.

I agree and disagree at the same time. The game is bad in your eyes for what you would like it to be, but for others it may be fine for how they like to play. In general people tend to be more vocal when they have an issue with something than when things are going okay. So you are right, we will see more people bitching about NHL 15 if they consider it bad and less appreciation for NHL 15 from those that think it is good.

The best part is, nobody is ever wrong because it is simply how they feel and you can't be wrong about that.

While there is no way I would pay more than $20 for NHL 15, I just can't call it a "bad" game (assuming the reviews and impressions are correct). I have had every NHL game in the series back to about '05 or '06. The issue for me is that each is only incrementally better (if at all) from the one before it. So, NHL 11-15 are not "bad" in any sense. They just are barely improved, making a full retail purchase price silly.

Rather than open a new thread.

To those that do own this game, is the game worth 49.99 or should we hold off for a bigger sale?

I started playing EA NHL games back in 1993. This game is feature/depth-wise, on par with the old ones...hell...even they had an actual draft. For me, depth is key. If the game has little depth I will get bored with it....REGARDLESS of gameplay.
