I am an offline gamer also, could care less about EASHL. This one's a wait and see.

I will. I thought the EASHL was pretty solid

edit: Just read the last 6-7 pages and seems like a clear majority will either not be buying the game, or will waiting after release.

Seems like more people on this forum don't play NHL than do play NHL, lol.

I'd say about 99% of them used to before EA stopped paying any attention to offline play. It's depressing to someone like me, that's been playing since NHL07 to have the series come down to a "I have to wait for honest gameplay opinions and videos to see if it even looks remotely enjoyable".

The game was a midnight release that I'd hunt down in local stores all over town...now I haven't played it in over a year and a half, and it sucks.

I'll be checking impressions and reviews but I plan on getting it on release unless reviews are overwhelmingly negative

I've played this franchise since the original NHL Hockey on the Sega Genesis in 1992 (or 91). This is a no buy.

I will consider getting back in if:

A) Major improvements are made to BAGM

B) A GM Connected mode makes a return.

Until I see those, I'm out. There are better ways to spend my time and money.

Offline gamer, already preordered. Honestly, I thought 15 was a really good game graphically and gameplay-wise, it was the missing content that killed it.

Plus I am a sucker for mascots.

I never got to play Be a GM Connected, and I'm super bummed about it. There was a sub-reddit of guys playing on NHL13, and I got invited to try out. I fired up my PS3 and got ready to play...then it died on me. So, my GM Connected lasted all of 2 seconds.

I would love to get some online community like the one here playing a realistic brand of hockey with moves being made (Assuming online sliders set by the league worked, which would be great). Sadly, until we pay $5 per week to play, I don't see offline or GM Connected catching much dev attention at EA.

15 wasn't terrible for me because I am an offline player too, but glad they brought EASHL back and full team control (including AHL).

Looking forward to 16, really the only thing now that the games is missing from my wish list is custom music ability. That was cool to authenticate the gameplay with true arena sounds...
