^^^^^^^

I think this can truly open the game up to how we want the game to play. One of the biggest things I do not see, is how to make neutral zone play better.

Excited however based on these sliders. Good Job, Neo!!

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

This could have me buying NHL on release day for the first time in 5 or 6 years. However, neutral zone pressure and a lot of other AI sliders I would have liked are missing. The AI sliders IMO are the most important. Instead they still have those stupid sliders of CPU difficulty adjustment and AI learning. AI Learning I'm ok with but we should be able to make the difficulty harder by adjusting the sliders, not with changing one generic slider like that. I applaud their effort in giving us a bigger range and more sliders in general. I just don't think it's nearly enough in the AI category.

I'm just really scared neutral zone pressure isn't fixed. Maybe the incidental contact will help counteract that issue. Nonetheless if the neutral zone is non existent again, I don't know if there's anything else that can make me justify buying this game until it's $10 or $20 down the road. We will see.

Agreed.

I do like that that listened to the community a bit and gave us more control and more sliders. That being said, one of the glaring issues has been the ai and judging that the sliders haven't changed, I can't imagine the AI has.

In my few HUT games on the beta, they have not changed. We'll see. Great list of sliders and great post, thanks Neo

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

bummer.
I was hoping there were more goalie sliders like hitz pro had.
off the top of my head I know hitz pro had a 5hole slider, shot bonus slider, breakaway slider and some more

Truthfully I'm a little scared of this. Anyone with Slideritus will go insane over this. I fear the conversations of "puck control at 56 feels better than at 54", and the idea that I may never settle on a slider set this year.

I would be more than happy to be completely wrong about this.

Just as long as the AI doesn't override attributes, such as a slow skating player catching up to a 95+ speed player or a 69 bodychecking player pummels a 230+ lbs player.
