I have read a few comments about that after some time, for an unknown reason, sliders stop having an effect on gameplay and the only solution is to uninstall the game and start over.

Really ?
That may explain why I stopped getting penalties in my games.

Truth or myth ?
Can we prevent the problem ?
Is there a less drastic fix than uninstalling everything ?

That explains EVERYTHING!!!! I had a slider setting for BAP, I started out 8-14-2, was a -6. I didn't touch ANYTHING. I won 14 straight, and overall went 23-2-1 after the 8-14-2 start. That explains a lot if that's true, because there's no reason why working sliders should have that big of a turnaround.

No re install needed. Been an issue for years. When you "feel" the change, just dashboard the game and restart it. Then it should be fine.

Definitely has nothing to do with player skill improving and/or adjusting to things...

is it just me or you cannot save sliders. took me like 20 minutes to setup the sliders i like but every time i log in i have to set them up again. very dissapointed

Happens to me every time it is severely frustrating. How do you get the sliders to stick?

id like to know as well lol. those are small details why is EA making it so hard

I had the same issue. You gotta set your sliders in the main menu outside of franchise mode.
