Rubber guard is broken

Rubber guard is near useless because it's so easy to escape.

Yes rubber guard is op at the moment. Had a guy do this to me yesterday over and over.

Yeah but if you get lucky and block/reverse just 1 transition the fight is over

Nearly Impossible to deny. And on the flip-side, once you have someone in rubber guard, almost impossible to KEEP them there.

I'd say about 20% on both ends (20% easier to block; but 20% harder to escape)

It's definitely a useless and broken mechanic right now

Keeping somebody postured down in mma is why Bravo came up with the rubber guard in the first place. I don't need the 100 variations and combos that came after but I agree it needs to be harder to escape. Not crazy about the elbow power from there either, you wouldn't be pushing the head up that much to land those bows like you can in the game.

Maybe in unbalanced ultimate team. But in the normally functioning side of gameplay it's useless.

I'm not saying it doesnt need to be changed but if you can gain ga its a pretty strong position and its not too hard to deny transitions.

I prefer a position easy to obtain and hard to maintain than the contrary. If you Nerf the ruber Guard, you have to nerf a lot of other things, rubber Guard is a strength for a few fighters. If you know your opponent will go for rubber guard, it's easy to deny. But those who have the rubber guard have also guard specialist, Dev, dont nerf it. And it's easy to deny transition in rubber guard when the stamina of the opponent is low, if you make the rubber guard hard to escape, it will not good due to the deadly elbow in rubber guard. Leave the rubber guard alone!
