But this isnt the case. I have 100 top game and ts stikl an issue especially if they have guard specialist. When tis 100 top vs 100 otb it isnt because ut IT IS the game

Perhaps it can just be nerfed for UT players then, because it truly is becoming ridiculous. Aside from that, many things are balanced at the moment EXCEPT for that. As I say, you'd have to see for yourself to understand where I'm coming from, as it's quickly becoming a rinse and repeat method for most.

Other mentioned 'OP positions' in the past really pales in comparison to this though. For instance, the crucifix was once considered OP but it was indeed possible to escape whereas this focuses more on what seems an unlimited grapple advantage of some sort. The meter just fills up so slow after one denial and should someone escape it, it becomes difficult to deny the transition back to RG and you're just with a flurry of elbows that you'd have to sit there and take.

I'll agree though; I've never had an issue with the RG in ranked. It's just in UT for some reason.

I read the OP. I didnt see any mention of what your ground defense stat is. Im pretty sure that is what the deciding factor is when it comes to transition length, combined with Opponent OTB, TG or your own.

Whats your GT? Id be happy to make a CAF and lab this by making both of our ground stats maxed out, seeing if it is a problem, and seeing if there is any solutions to the problem.

I saw you said you had tried posturing up but rubber guard beats it. I also saw that you said you tried transitioning to HG after denying RG. Have you tried posturing up or going stacked guard right after denying the RG transition?
