Yeah or just faster on the sticks than most. I can say for a fact that the extra kick didnt come up in our Slack chat until about a week ago. He certainly wasnt doing that during the beta or when we played it in August. Also, he didnt have the game until 11am the day that Access came out.

I think having the more aggressive damage associated with this is one of the few areas in the game which forces people to really set it up. I wish more strikes in the game had the impact that these did.

The catch window is another story, but I still feel that if we totally removed parries over something like this we might as well completely remove catch kicks too!

I absolutely don't think catch kicks should be removed, but I don't think parries should have been either. They just need a way to prevent abuse. Maybe you lose a little bit of stamina every time you anticipate a parry or something?

Any mechanic that makes you lose control and eat damage isnt perfect

It’s literally works the same as a parry from last year.

Outweighs the risk? Is that part even debatable? You can currently KO guys by catching a kick lol. I've been able to do it now too. The payoff definitely doesn't outweigh the risk.

How many times have you seen a guy get his kick caught and blasted with a perfect/laser straight punch that hurts him? If we have to make them drain slightly less stamina to find the perfect balance then I'm okay with that. It's way too easy to catch them and punish for it right now tho. You don't even need very good reactions.
