It’s the lack of footwork animations in this game making everyone feel one or the other is op. The cage isn’t sticky and you can’t circle out like ufc 2. I think we should wait in grappling and work on footwork. Your thoughts?

It’s the magnetic striking and lunges being nerfed. We need to be able to lunge + block (more stamina and less range for blocking lunges)

GPD liked the topic about the lateral shuffle so that should fix the circling/cutting off issue

But grappling is in a much worse state than the standup.

Magnetic striking is horrendous.

Let’s move on to grappling. Striking is pretty good and can be minor improvements from here on out.

Is this the new informed catch phrase now?

Did no one play UFC 2? Seriously? You're calling UFC 3 magnetic striking?

Please go back and play UFC 2.

No sarcasm, did that type of stuff happen in 2? i never had issues creating or maintaining distance in that game.

I’ll pass on going back to UFC 2. UFC 3 is MILES ahead of UFC 2.

However, that doesn’t change the fact that when I back lunge the game inexplicably automatically closes the distance for the offensive player.
That’s what I mean by magnetic striking. Not the striking in its entirety, which I think is overall excellent.
I have a hard time believing that was an intended mechanic. It seems so out of place.
