The game hasnt been postponed or dragged out though, right? They didnt announce a date and then pull it back. They've likely always had a date but they havent shared it with us.

Now that doesnt mean the game is going to be great or the most complete game ever. It just means they are taking a little more time than they did with UFC3.

We had tweet from DC in the EA studios probably doing commentary work. Before that we had a tweet from Megan Anderson doing scanning. UFC 4 is a given, that i'm pretty sure of.

However their approach to market this game is at this point obsolete by dragging out info to the public. Just look at Death stranding how that turned out. Hence why it gives me indication of an"red flag". If they actually had confidence in their work it wouldn't hurt them doing some Q&A on what content this game has at this late stage. They could let their gamechangers doing that instead of chasing misguided youtubers and making fun of them releasing false info like some kind of bullies. Insomniac did that with their Spiderman game over a year before release by doing Q&A with anticipated fans on the forums, and what do you know, the game as an PS4 exclusive sold 9 million copies. The more consumers know about the product the better anticipation it brings/grows and words are spread for great sales figures. I mean we just got a trailer and info on Resident evil 3 remake for an early April release, less than a year after RE2 remake was released. And make no mistake, this franchise is not even Resident evil or R* games for that matter and yet they're treating it being some kind of area 51 top secret information. It's is getting ridicilous.

Well that's one of the main problem, they haven't even announced the game yet.

Resident Evil 2 Remake had been in development since 2015 and they kept quiet about it until 2018 and it was already mentioned in another thread that the first actual gameplay footage of Red Dead Redemption 2 was leaked days before the game's launch.

The only people who read forums like this (or Imsomniac) are people who are already interested and are going to get the game regardless. Some Q&A here will have a marginal effect on the sales.

I already know about RE2 Remake and all of it's development process, i'm talking about RE3 remake. Didn't even mention anything about RDR2, read my post again.

"People who already are interested"? The Spiderman game was insomniac first attempt, literally. Besides we have thousads of people interested in the UFC franchise, i mean take us in this forum as clear example, are we less worth? If i didn't think this frachise had the slightest bit of potential, then i wouldn't be here.

Honestly I’m happy they’re taking their time with a release date

A lot of people complained about how “unfinished” UFC 3 was at release so I’d rather wait longer to get a more complete game.

Sounds like I read it better than you did buddeh. The time gap between Resident Evil 3's announcement and release is about the same as what Alberto said has happened for UFC games so I don't see the issue here. Did it occur to you that they can push RE 3 so quickly because they spent 3 years in the dark working on RE 2 that the remake is based on?

They gave the most popular Superhero franchise (one that has good track record for games) to a company that developed some of the most popular PlayStation titles for 3 consecutive console generations and it was released for one of the most commercially successful consoles of all time.

How many of those 9 million people do you think knew about the Q&A, let alone played it? Similarly, this forum is a tiny minority of UFC 3 player base. They could release the game tomorrow with no gameplay footage and all 30 of us would buy it in a heartbeat.
