Lupe is in my top three (probably number two), slightly behind Nas and above Royce.

Speaking of...

The Bar Exam 2 has leaked.

Which makes it strange to me that he'd be talking about retiring already. I really can't stand when these dudes do that. If you don't feel like rapping right now, then just don't rap right now. No need to start all the retirement talk when you're just gonna come back in a couple of years.

I'm really liking Paper Trail more than I thought I would. It's way better than TI's last album(not as good as The Recession though).

Haha... Kanye using the Auto-Tuner. When will people realize the Auto-Tuner is not something to be celebrated. It was used to make a flopping rapper into a half-way successful R&B singer, but morons fell in love with it and now established artists are using it?

Damn the mainstream game is ****ed up.

And it's not like it sounds good either. The talk box actually takes some talent to use and doesn't sound like ****, auto tune is just annoying.

No, when I first heard T-Pain I laughed my *** off. Little did I know one year later Usher would be using Auto-Tune.

Screw that.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Yeah the whole auto tune trend is making me mad. People are ruining songs for no reason.
