Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Based on what I've heard, deciding to see Neighbors instead of the new Seth McFarlane movie was a splendid decision on my part. REALLY enjoyed Neighbors.

I gotta see 21 Jump Street too so that I can prepare for 22 Jump Street.

On a sidenote, this is a TV series, but I started watching Leverage this past week... I've almost finished all 5 seasons already lol. It's basically got that Robin Hood kinda concept to it which I've always liked, but at the same time, it's really quirky and funny and the cast is just awesome at their roles. Really disappointed that this show got canceled now that I've actually gotten around to watching it.

The wife and I went to see "The Fault In Our Stars" today. I'm not going to lie. I had to sit there and watch the credits for a little bit. Movie made me tear up. It was a really good movie, but they need to stop making movies about kids with cancer.

Wife and I watched Silver Linings Playbook tonight (our second viewing). Man, such a great movie.

Yeah I read this is a tear jerker. I don't think I can watch it in theaters knowing it's about that. And anything with a dog dying, I'm done for.

Draft Day. It was pretty good. I highly question some of the trade logic, but it kept me entertained. The 2 female subplots were annoying though
Spoiler

Edge of Tomorrow 3D. Really enjoyed this. Tom Cruise does a solid job especially with his character's development. The "ground hog" day humor was effective. Action scenes were well done. Skip the 3D though, didn't add much (which was a shame)

The Desolation of Smaug. The CGI is beyond belief and if I ever have to go into battle, I'm taking a troop of elves with me (she-elves too).

Yeah, it was my girlfriend's turn to pick the movie recently and we went to see this.

Not really my kinda movie and I was sort of dreading seeing it, but ended up really enjoying it. Plenty of feels to go around.

The only problem really was the average age in the theater, and the immaturity of some of the movie goers nearly ruining a few moments.

Spring Breakers

It wasn't much of a movie, had little to no plot and story, and a lot of stale acting, but I still finished it.. mostly for the girls I guess.
