This really does make me hate EA. Not only do they make a lot of money off of games with the same engine, just one or two new features added this year, but they also squash their competition. Competition is good for everyone, and gamers everywhere just got royally screwed over.

It's things like this that are the reasons I haven't bought Madden since 2001.

I've played Madden 2005 I've also played ESPN NFL 2K5 (which was a pretty good game) and I have to say that the EA football games won't be as good because they won't make huge improvements. This is a terrible day to be an EA or SEGA/2K fan.

This shouldn't be allowed. EA can't make better games so they are going to buy out the business.
