This is great news. It would be nice to have VC make a formal announcement simply that they are going forward but no news is better than bad news.

That's the best news I've heard since EA's chicken**** deal was announced. Generic or not. If the gameplay is improved as well as the player movements and franchise options I will definately buy the game.

There is no way in shape and form that EA's exclusive deal would make me go with them. EA will not improve that game that much if at all for 2006.

I'd also still like to see a college game, but I understand the timeframe is too compressed for that at this point. Maybe down the road?
