Transfer from Original Xbox to 360 here is what you need

i have no idea why all these people bought a datel transfer kit($20) and memory card ($50) when they coulda just got and xport for $40 and you have direct access to the harddrive basically drag and drop files. And use ur pc as a backup of your saves, arcade games, Dl's, etc.. when u get the rrod or maybe just wanna play on someone elses 360.

It seems as if the Xport is the only way to go unless someone can turn the existing files into .z36 so they can be transferred to the 360 right?

For those on the fence, ask yourself this, if 2k5 came out today for the 360 would you spend $60 (Xport and game) on that or Madden? It's the same money. I know what I would do. Madden would be collecting dust.

I'm going to buy the Xport. I'm also going to put Madden back in and compare. I am one that believes that Madden has made improvements, but I don't like the speed of the game. What I want most is to be able to play an enjoyable franchise. What Madden lacks so severely is soul. Maybe some disagree with the gameplay of the two, but in comparing the overall ability of each game to give you the feeling that you are immersed in an NFL game, ESPN NFL 2K5 wins every time.
