Sorry, but realistic football isn't a slow game of chess like madden is. REAL football is realistic. In Madden there is too much time to throw. In the real nfl the avg pocket protection is like 3.1 secs. in madden its like 5 secs unless it is a blitz. in real football u have to think fast, and act fast. People dont realize that fast paced football IS how the game is played. Madden is like slow motion sometimes

ESPN is a good football game and I'm enjoying it. Is it different than Madden. Yes. Thats why I like it. Is it better than Madden no. The people who can't admit that are the ones who are afraid to admit that they may have bought the lesser of the two games. As for me being that I have them both. Guess what. I'm going to ENJOY THE BOTH OF THEM. And leave this silly arguement to rest of you.

p.s. I think I saw some people from Sega & Madden going into the bank. And laughing at all of us.

See people on here are saying stuff about Madden that is flat out untrue. Ive already logged over 100 games so far online and off (been practicing for the Madden Challenge) and some things people say are false. Dropping back 15 yards no longer gets you anywhere, no way you can stay in the pocket without pressure for more than 4 seconds. Maddens speed is just right during the gameplay, im saying its slow in the way you get in chess matches beofore the snap, which usually involve running the play clock down low before you get the play off. Seems like you guys are way to defensive about somethings; ive never put down ESPN at all, ive just stated that I agree with what Gamespot said and many other reviews have stated about each games realism and representaion of NFL Football gameplay wise.
