I am not certain but I would bet Sega would give you your money back if you told them this is why you bought the game. Feel free to contact them.


On another note, I am sure many people are upset. I know would be. I recently bought a Wega for my bedroom. I almost bought the HD version just for this game(it would be my second HDTV). My current tv will not do 720p nor upconvert it. If I would had spent an extra 1300 for this game, I would be ticked off. However, this would not give me the right to come here and flame Sega/VC or another poster. Please keep that in mind.

VC is no different than other developers this year..

EA - Draft class import bug MADDEN 2004
Bethesda - Pirates of the Carribean - Numerous crashes when loading including the WHITE screen of death.
Bioware - The dreaded "Carth" glitch for Knights of the Old Republic. If you used "stealth" in a certain scene, the character could not be seen in a cutscene and the game was 'stuck'.

Now VC. These days it seems that these games are getting rushed out the door without proper testing and the result is buggy software. It's a shame, but they gotta meet deadlines to make that $$$.

The worse thing is, most of them blame the hardware "Do you have an old Xbox?" That's a joke, then they 'admit' the problem weeks later. OH well, they got us by the you know whats...

Problem is they don't support Dolby 5.1.

It works offline, but online the game freezes when over if it is enabled..

This is really bad news, I cant even read the player names on the jerseys in 480p, and I can read them with Madden.

Gee, it only took them four days to make that up. Pretty pathetic. Steve knows what he's doing, plus I know at least one other person who saw the late beta with 720p mode. Not to mention all the pimping they did in previews for that feature. How stupid do they think people are?

The main problem is that they did release the game with 720P support. It is one thing to tell people that it will have it and then not include it due to whatever reason. It is another to release the game to reviewers with 720p, get people excited about it and then ripping it out for the release. Inexcusable!!!!!!!!!!
VC and Sega now look like *******s and a third rate development team.
