Will 2k5 be your football game for this year?

Since i have not played 2k5 in a few years i think this will be my football game for the year. This game is that good and it amaze me how good it is compare to the games on ps3 and 360. I play the madden 12 demo and it does not bring nothing to the table that 2k5 has but looks. With roster updates i can play 2011 season 90s season 80's season etc.

Well, I have 2K3 that I use to simulate the season, play the playoffs and off-season and keep going until I miss the playoffs or lose. Basically, I like to see how long I can keep winning.

I just bought 2K5 off ebay and will probably edit the final roster update for the 2004 season but not sure about future years or this current year because with 2K5, im a picky person and want everything a certain way and just dont have the time to do a current roster from scratch.

As for Madden 12, im buying it since the demo is better than 10 or 11. Im just hoping that I can turn off the damn replays that take place after every play and the far as hell away camera because both are annoying as hell. Franchise mode seems to finally be back on track. My only complaint is I dont know why EA hasnt brought back mini-camp which was more fun than the game itself back then.

Oh well, just have to wait and see.

Yup. I finally ended up buying 2k5 again (since I lost my other one) for $6 because I didn't feel like paying $60 for Madden again this year... especially since it feels the exact same as NCAA 12, which I already have.

$6 for 2k5? No,, Go to gamestop, I just picked up 2 2k5's $.99 each.

I went to the sim standard channel and see once again Madden just doesnt have it.. I really wanted it to be good this year.. I tried to download the demo for my PS3 but cant for some reason.. But no matter I am back to 2k5 and using Capa's Historic teams..
Oh 2k come back with a New game!

I would but im not sure if i can stand another year of the "You cant coach that" Commentary.6 years is a good run but man it isnt the same anymore.

I turned the commentary off 4-6 years ago. Stands to reason if you are "playing in the game", you're not going to hear the guys in the booth.

What system you playing on? You can download someone else rosters if your on 360

After taking a break last year from the game due to not having much time to play it I fully intend to complete several seasons in the game this year. I just find it amazing that NCAA/Madden still have an inferior product after all of these years.
