I have never had a deep pass in one season. I did have a short pass that turned into a long TD because of 6 broken tackles.

In Madden as well I never have a long bomb thrown against me unless the game is on the line in the last minute.

I would hope that the CPU teams actually make adjustments as do Player controlled teams will do from week to week to prepare for their opponents

I wonder.

why wonder? play Franchise Mode. Opponents you may have easily handled in the first confrontation will bring it the next you meet up. Forcing you to adjust your own gameplan.

Not only that, but once you've been "solved" other "first-time" teams play better against you as well. It defnitely gives that sense that you're being scouted.

You should check it out, Lisa.

Well ccdeville, that particular game Manning was throwing more 30 to 40 yard passes, a few even deeper I would venture to say, but I was playing a lot of man coverage too so he had a lot more one on one match ups. But even when I started using more deep coverage he still seemed to make some very risky long passes looking for the quick strike it would seem . He threw deep quite often in that game but as Ive said its been a lot of mixed results with each team. Im still in the early stages of playing the preseaon games to see how well the sliders work from game to game.

Jerros I am dying to see that happen in my games. I have to get deep into franchise mode to experiment with what you're getting. Are you playing with all-pro sliders or do you have some adjustments? I currently play with everything maxed out for both computer and human exept fatigue and kicking

has anyone ever noticed if the CPU teams actually change their gameplan sliders?

The cpu never throws deep in my season and i think that this MUST be fixed next year! It is Very easy to defend the pass when you are covering a 10-15 yard area!
