what needs to happen is people need to realize the game will NOT be released in June. so no matter the OFFICIAL release date it doesn't matter at all right now. it definitely doesn't matter enough for hundreds of posts about it changing back and forth and where it's posted as one thing rather than another.

I realise it will not be out in June. I just can't believe that they will be getting the game out 2 WEEKS after Madden, which is now shipping on 8/10. All that work for the price cut will go down the drain if they release that far behind Madden...

VC needs a late July/ early August (before Madden) release date, along with the $19.99 price, to maximize the effectiveness of their marketing strategy. A release date after Madden will only hurt sales as Madden will be flying off the shelves with ESPN vying to be heard and recognized two weeks later. An early release date will also influence gamers to anticipate an ESPN release first instead of the Madden release, thus taking away some of the hype and media frenzy from the EA title.

maybe madden can come out so early is because they didnt have to do much well as 2k5 redid the running animations and all the other features and the xbox graphics

Just saw the last two videos.

What I didn't like-
I know they were trying to show off the juke moves, but the video with Clinton Portis scoring the rushing TD kinda scared me. Not nitpicking, but he slipped the defender (LB) like he was a ghost or something. Hopefully, there's some slider for this.

What I liked-
I like the emphasis on the stiff arm and shoulder charge. With the stiff arm, he doesn't just push you out the way. He drives your body into the ground. That looks so damn sweet.
