I agree with Wwharton however I just wanted to make an anology.

The thread title makes me think ESPN gamers are in the role of Mormans going door to door hawking their religion to people. It might be good for us to accept it but many people may be turned off by such blatant selling of it.

for everybody involved, the games dont make the developer the list price in profit. they sell to the store at a reduced price and the store makes the rest.

the vendor, espn, could not be selling for more than 9 to 10 dollars and madden between $20 to $27 to a dealer.
