That with all the other things you guys said, would make the perfect video game.
there's a serious problem with the pump fake imo. a lot of times when you're getting blitzed and you press the button to toss a lob it will cause you to pump fake, sometimes several times in a row. the end result is you getting sacked even though you had a wide open man.

Sounds like a problem with your controller. I had that happen a few times, switched to a newer controller and it has not happened since. The little rubber pad inside under the buttons gets worn down over time.

Re: ESPN NFL 2K6: What Will Make It Perfect

The d line is way too slow off the ball

Blitzing defenders should be faster, hit gaps better, and not take the longest possible path to the qb (especially corner blitzes!)

Lbs don't drop back fast enough (or deep enough) in zone and it leaves a big gap that can be easily exploited by certain slants and posts. Lbs will try to cover the short stuff in cover 3, but when I call cover three, I'm trying to defend deep and I'm willing to give up a quick pass so I can defend that 20yd post

Dbs shouldn't make plas on balls when their bakcs are turned in man coverage. Somehow they always know when to turn around in bat te ball down even though they aren't looking at the ball.

Corner (flag) routes are freakin' ridicuous online. And even when you do stop it, the guy will just throw slants

better reaction to the scramble, qb spy that works

better oline play. no dline glitches.

Haven't done anything except a few minor changes to playbooks since 2k3.

VC should forget all the stupid gimick crib and extra mode crap and just make a solid game !

Better swat ball animations

tone down momentum a tiny bit

16 or 32 way motion is definetly needed

Thats about all I can think of right now.

well i always control a LB or FS/SS, i don't blitz that often if i'm playing a scrambling QB, I double team every teams star. 2 man dime or nickel is usually good. just a few things, don't know if you were serious or being sarcastic.
