The offense did their thing, but your defense stepped up after a shaky start. 6 sacks and only 8 completions for Herring whew.

I'm sure Bowling Green looks easy on paper, but for some reason those mid-major schools always play tough. In a different dynasty I lost a 3peat to Charlotte with a 78 overall roster and somehow it was my toughest game of the season and ended my 55 game win streak too lol

Bowling Green is a Top-10 ranked Defense in the National Stats, but they only average 30 PPG, so on paper I am still a 2 touchdown favorite. They are 84 Overall/84 Offense/88 Defense.

I am going to check out the Heisman sliders for next season. It weird I will have close games for awhile then all of a sudden I will have 3 or 4 blowouts wins. I am also going to go harder with the non-conference schedule moving forward. The Big 12 has had it's share of Top-25 teams but I still want to start playing schools like Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Arkansas more often during the season, even if it means a couplle early season loss's. Honestly though at this rate I am replacing 9 graduating Seniors with 11-5* recruits so I don't really see TTU losing #1 status even next year. Right now Linebacker is my biggest need. But I just upgrade my recruiting so I get a extra 10 hours next year on LB's, so I will probably hit it hard..

TTU MAKES HISTORY

Bowling Green came into the game with a Top-10 Defense and it showed as they held TTU off the scoreboard in the 1st Quarter (0-0). But the Red Raiders wasted little time playing catchup in the 2nd Quarter as they score 4 times to take a (28-0) lead into the locker room as RS FR QB Freddie Vildor hits 4 different WR's for scores (Addison 53 yds), (Head 67 yds) Hatfield (53 yds) and Murray (15 yds).

Vildor then added a 15 yd TD run in the 3rd well finding TE Kevin Pickering for a 35 yd score to extend the lead to (42-0) as we head to the 4th..

Bowling Green's D finally came alive again in the 4th, as they pick off Vildor to stop a scoring drive. But the Offense continued to struggle as they manage just 181 yds of Total Offense including just 80 yds through the air as SO QB J. Kumah connects on just 8/23 (34%).

TTU would extend the lead to (56-0) as Morton and Byham both add rushing scores still with 4 minutes to play.

Bowling Green would finally get on the scoreboard as they pick off backup QB Stetson Hollman after pinning TTU on the 4yd line with a beautiful 59 yd punt. MLB David Riggins takes the INT and turns it into a "Pick 6"..

FINAL SCORE TEXAS TECH-56 BOWLING GREEN-7

KEY PLAYERS

QB F. Vildor-18/35 (51%) 443 yds 5 TD 1 INT, 23 yds rushing 1 TD
RB N. Morton-15 carries 126 yds 1 TD
RB S. Byham-5 carries 37 yds 1 TD
RB JJ Robert 5 carries 41 yds
WR F. Addison-6 rec 145 yds 1 TD
WR B. Head-3 rec 115 yds 1 TD
WR R.Hatfield-2 rec 78 yds 1 TD
WR L. Murray-1 rec 15 yds
TE K. Pickering-5 rec 78 yds

TTU has now scored at least 60 points or more in their last 4 games dating back to Week 13 @ Baylor after finishing the regular season with a National Best 44.4 PPG..

[U#7 (13-2) ]MICHIGAN VS #6 (11-3) OREGON[/u]

After watching the blowout win by Texas Tech, College Football fans were excited to finally watch a great game that saw the Wolverines and Ducks battle into Overtime!!!

Tied (7-7) as the end of the 1st and tied (14-14) at the half, Michigan would take a (28-21) lead into the 4th, but Oregon ties the game with less then a minute to play to force OT..

Both teams would settle for FG's on their opening series, Oregon manages a score a TD on their 2nd series as RS SO QB Tyrone Russ (86 ovr) hits RS SO WR Rico Urban (86 ovr) for his 3rd TD of the game. The Ducks then leave the Offense on the field as they convert the 2pt play to make it (39-31).

Facing the need for a TD, Michigan answers the call as RS SO Johnnie Hass (82 ovr) scores his 2nd rushing TD of the day, but faced with the need to convert the 2pt play, the Wolverines come up short as Oregon is headed to the National Championship for the first time since 2025 when they lost to Clemson.

Texas Tech is making it's 5th straight playoff appearance is looking for its 4th Natty in 5 years well Oregon is looking to finally get what Nike owner Phil Knight has been paying for for the last 9 years playing in their 2nd Natty since their loss to Clemson in 2025.

Coach Scott is no stranger to the Ducks, having played Oregon in all 4 seasons well at BSU as well as leading Boise State to a victory over Oregon in the 2026 Semi Finals. Scott is (3-2) vs the Ducks as Oregon.

Coach Scott

Well most people love to talks about Offense and for good reason as TTU ranks #1 and Oregon ranks #3. This game will be decided by the defense. Texas Tech is #3 in the nation in least amount of points allowed and is averaging just 13 points in their 2 wins over over Boise State and Bowling Green resulting in blowout wins.

Oregon however however has had to put some work into getting here with a 6 point win over James Madison in Round 2 and just a 2 point win over Michigan last week with teams averaging 28 points a game against them.

Both team's boast 2 of the Best Pass Rush's in the country as Oregon leads the nation with 55 sacks (SR's J. Gallimore 15.5 sacks and M. Sturgis 13 sacks), well Texas Tech is #3 with 48, going up against the Top-3 Passing Offenses in the nation (Texas Tech #1 with 4976 yds and Oregon #3 with 4449 yds.

Coach Scott

That offense will need to be at the top of their game though if they are going to match the output of TTT that is favored by 14 points to win their 4th Natty.
You accidentally posted this in my USC thread lol

RED RAIDERS WIN #4!!!!

Texas Tech makes history joining the Minnesota Gophers (1934,1935,1936) as the only other team to win 3 straight championships in College Football in the past 100 years, as Phil Knight once again fails to buy the Ducks a National Title.

GAME RECAP

Oregon jumped out to a (14-0) lead as Freddie Vildor is picked off on the opening drive but TTU answers back after a Oregon score with 1 play as Freddie Vildor hits Brian Head on a 72 yd bomb to make it (14-7) at the end of the 1st Quarter. Head and Vidor would hook up for TD #2 midway through the 2nd Quarter as both teams go into the locker room tied (14-14).

Texas Tech opened up the 2nd half with a 9 play drive capped by a 27 yd TD strike from Vildor to "King" Felix Addison to give TTU the lead, but the Ducks answer back as JC Spitzer takes the handoff 28 yds for the score to tie the game again (21-21).

A Vildor INT killed the Red Raiders chance at taking the lead into the 4th but Oregon fails to capitalize leaving it a tied game.

TTU takes the lead midway through the 4th as Vildor and Addison hook up for their 2nd TD of the day to give Texas Tech the (28-21) lead, but Oregon again answers the call as backup RB SO Jimmy Wood (82 ovr) finishes off a 11 play drive with a 1 yd score to tie the game (28-28) with 2:12 to play.

Coach Scott knew at this point the winner of the game would most likely be whoever had the ball last.. With Vildor already having thrown 2 INT in the game, took no chances as the Red Raiders use 7 plays to get the ball inside the Redzone and after forcing Oregon to burn all 3 of their timeouts, TTU sends out JR PK Doug Khaled with 5 seconds to play in the game to kick a chip shot FG (17 yds) for the game winner. The kick is good, as TTU takes the crown...

FINAL SCORE TEXAS TECH-31 OREGON -28

QB F. Vildor-27/37 (72%) 433 yds 4 TD 2 INT,22 yds rushing
RB N. Morton-11 carries 27 yds,, 3 rec 30 yds

WR B Head-6 rec 120 yds 2 TD

What a game for the three peat! Vildor came up clutch when he needed to keep the Red Raiders at the top.
