Pick Sixed

Paul Weiss scoring a rare TD for the 49ers.

MARSH 7 14 14 0 35

Huntington, WV-
Don't look now fans, but this past game against the Thundering Hurd will bring back memories of NCAA 08.

You are probably wondering what I mean, well yes, the title of the thread says it all. Marshall had 2, count them 2 pick sixes as they mauled the Charlotte 49ers.

Andre Burgess managed to drive the team downfield, but the closer they got to the endzone, the harder it became to pass.

Charlotte managed to score a TD late in garbage time, but by that time it was pretty much over.

Re: Building a 49er Tradition---NCAA 10 (PS3)

Bowl Eligible!

Senior CB Kyle Dahl picks off an arrant pass to the house.

El Paso, Tx- The Charlotte 49ers manage to become bowl eligible in their inaugural season in FBS after a GW Field Goal against the UTEP Miners.

The game went from high scoring shootout at halftime to defensive battle. A big defensive play turned the tide for the 49ers, when Senior cornerback, Kyle Dahl, intercepted a pass and took it 78 yards to the house.

Their was little scoring in the 4th quarter, as the majority of the time it was tied at 28-28 until Sophomore kicker Shannon Coe nailed a 32 yard field goal as time expired.

This gives Charlotte their 5th win against an FBS team, which means they will be bowl eligible. Of course, Charlotte would love to add to that win total to secure a bowl.
