Recruiting News and Updates

Notre Dame
Both B's Sign Before Bye, After Visit
Notre Dame was able to beat the Washington Huskies at home, with a strong showing from the defense and passing game. Two top recruits visited the Irish for the game, and would leave signing agreeing to play at Notre Dame next season.

Both Quarterback Zac Bradley and receiver Roosevelt Billings gave verbal commitments to the coaching staff. Both expect to have a bright future in South Bend, and many hope "Bradley-to-Billings" will become a championship connection for the future.

The tandem are the first two prospects to sign with Notre Dame, and the team will look to add more players in-season. As the Fighting Irish take a week off in preparation for USC, they will also host another recruit. Brandon Holmes, a defensive end from the New Jersey Catholic Prep school ranks will visit Notre Dame.

The three star end is a big (6'6", 245 lbs.) target with good footwork that could be a pass rushing force at the next level. He just visited Rutgers, one of three schools he is interested in. The other being Penn State, a team he will visit soon. The Notre Dame staff hopes to have Holmes committed following the week off.

Players Visiting During Bye
DE Brandon Holmes, Jersey City, NJ - 6'6" 245 - Nationally Ranked DE: #2
Players Committed In-Season
QB Zac Bradley, Hazelwood, MO - 6'4" 232 - Nationally Ranked QB: #3
WR Roosevelt Billings, Santa Clara, CA - 6'2" 207 - Nationally Ranked WR: #2

Lol very true. I played a lot of games at first and have the sliders to a point where I think its pretty realistic (at least for how I play). But things are just not going my way. The team has been atrocious on third downs, and has caught some bad luck.

Schedule gets a bit easier now, I need the wins!

A story and a recruiting update should be posted tonight, next game either tonight or tomorrow.
