Yeah....I'm dialing the CPU Pass Rush on these sliders back a notch to see what happens. I thought I was giving up too many against the lesser opponents, but after what Florida and LSU did to me....yep, needs to come down.

Re: The Return of the Air Raid - A Kentucky Wildcats Dynasty

Ed. Note - This will be slightly short, as I played this game almost ten days ago. Damn life getting in the way.

Road woes continue
Kentucky drops third straight game in SEC play.

Gene McCaskill was the lone bright spot today for the Wildcats.

Columbia, SC - The Kentucky Wildcats knew coming into this game that the key to the South Carolina Gamecocks offense would be the play of running back Macus Lattimore. Unforunately for the Cats, knowing this fact and acting upon it are two very different things. Lattimore rushed for 309 yards and four touchdowns at the ninth ranked Gamecocks defeated the Wildcats 38-28.

This 4th and 1 stop was about the only time the Cats defense stopped Lattimore.

The Gamecocks defense were able to keep the Wildcats high powered offense mostly in check. Morgan Newton continued to not take care of the football, throwing three interceptions, giving him 12 on the season. Newton did throw all over the Gamecocks defense in the fourth quarter, but the game was pretty much decided by that point.

Winston Guy's pick-six gave the Cats short-lived hope in the 3rd quarter.

The Wildcats head into a much needed bye week before taking on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.

Play of the Game

Marcus Lattimore's 74-yard TD run seals the deal for the Gamecocks.

Coach Leach's Take: Anytime your defense can supply you with 14 points, you better take advantage of it. Unfortunately, we couldn't. Carolina's corners really played our receivers tough out there. Morgan has got to learn to make better reads. We can't be throwing three picks a game out there.

Morgan Newton connects with McCaskill on one of his two TD passes.
