The Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 16-10 to cement their place at the top of the NFC North. The Bears have won three straight setting themselves up for a playoff run.
The Vikings beat the Giants Monday Night in the Meadowlands 22-10. The Packers lost to the Cleveland Browns thanks to a last-second field goal. The two sides meet on Sunday Night Football in Minnesota this week.
Dallas fell to second place in the NFC East after a 35-14 loss to the Eagles last week. They have been inconsistent as of late, after winning three consecutive games after the loss to the Giants in the opener.
Injury Update
The Lions aren't struggling that much on the injury-front. However, they've lost 2 players at the most important position on the field: quarterback.

Partial MCL Tear - Out
Matthew Stafford remains out after tearing a shoulder muscle in the loss to Cleveland two weeks ago. His replacement Kellen Moore played well in Stafford's absence. However, he left last week's game with a knee injury. It was initially feared to be a torn MCL but an MRI scan revealed a partially torn MCL tear - ruling him out for 4 weeks.
As for Dallas, they're without starting running back DeMarco Murray will a groin injury. He has 3 touchdowns to his name this season, and 562 yards on 138 yards, a good season for the third-year back.
They are also missing rookie wide receiver Terrance Williams who has a dislocated ankle. He has only played in two games all season, hauling down 5 balls for 87 yards.
However, this biggest news on the injury front is that DeMarcus Ware, who missed practice this week with a knee injury, is set to start for the Cowboys in Detroit. He leads the Cowboys in sacks with 8 this season.
Other News
Head Coach Jim Schwartz said this past week that Mikel Leshoure will start at running back for Detroit this week. He also confirms that the Lions will try to use Reggie Bush in a Darren Sproles-type role.
WR Kris Durham has been waived by the Lions and signed to the practice squad. His release vacates a roster spot needed to sign a backup for quarterback Shaun Hill. Aaron Corp was signed to be Hill's backup.
The Cowboys are heavy favorites for this game and they'll look to exploit the Lions in a similar manner to the Bengals last week. It may turn out to be a long-day at the office for the Lions.

LIONS SNAP THREE GAME LOSING STREAK WITH 34-10 WIN OVER DALLAS
MEGATRON HAULS IN 2 TD CATCHES TO LEAD DETROIT TO VICTORY
DETROIT, MI -- The Detroit Lions made a statement to the rest of their division and conference with a 34-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Ford Field to let everyone know that they'll not be the whipping boys of the NFC in 2013.
Quarterback Shaun Hill played extremely well in his 1st start since the 2010 season. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns. Calvin Johnson bagged himself 2 touchdown receptions, to go along with his 75 yards receiving on 4 receptions. Nate Burleson was the other recipient of a touchdown pass, as he turned an 18 yard go-route into a 54 yard touchdown reception.
I think it's safe to say that Mikel Leshoure has secured the starting running back position in Detroit. He carried the ball 17 times for 72 yards, whereas incumbent former starter Reggie Bush carried 7 times for 15 yards.
Tight End Brandon Pettigrew had another solid day in his contract year. He caught 6 balls for 60 yards. He was frequently quarterback Hill's go-to-guy in the win.
Defense was another positive for the Lions. Ezekiel Ansah brought down Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo twice to record the Lions' only sacks of the game. The defense also picked off Romo three times. Don Carey caught a pass in the endzone. Louis Delmas caught a ball that bounced off Miles Austin's helmet and Glover Quin took his interception to the house for a touchdown.
Cornerback Chris Houston was a standout player for the Lions. He forced 2 fumbles, one of which was recovered by Ndamukong Suh.
Romo played well despite his 3 interceptions. Dez Bryant torched the Lions' secondary with 7 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown.
It was a hugely needed win for the Lions. They performed admirably despite the adversity facing them and missing their franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford. They know they have a viable insurance policy in Hill who picked apart the Cowboys defense like he was in his early 20's.
The Lions are on their bye next week which may be a negative as it stalls all momentum picked up from this win. Meanwhile, the Cowboys welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Arlington, Texas.
