Re: A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty
The #11 receiver in the nation is a 5-star?! Damn that's a deep class!
This guy looks like a stud. 6-5 and runs a 4.36?! That's a dynasty-changer there.
On a more analytical note - Could you tell me how many total 5-stars you're seeing per year in this version of NCAA?
I am getting between 35 and 45 per year, total, on average, but for me to see that the 11th rated receiver is a 5-star tells me that you're seeing significantly more blue chippers in your dynasty than I see.

I am definitely getting really excited for this class with both Singleton and Nicholas. Both players have the potential to be cornerstone players for us and set the stage for us to think make some BCS runs here in the future. Thanks for checking in man!

Thanks for checking in my good friend as always. I am really excited for Nicholas. I think his size and speed make him a potential Ryan Jean-esque game changer. I do worry about his hands though and ability to make the tough catch. That's what will end up separating him from a nice deep threat and a true superstar.
I am glad you raised the point about number of blue chip prospects and the breakdown of this year's class. I actually see similar numbers to you (35-45 per year). Currently there are 32 5-star prospects (but I expect a few more will be added come the offseason). This class is extremely wide receiver heavy. There are 18 5-star receivers. To give you an idea of the rest of the 5-star class - 2 QBs, 5 RBs, 2 DTs, 1 MLB, 1 CB, 3 ATH.... Definitely one of the most slanted classes, I have ever seen in terms of distribution. I may even do an article about it.
Love that we pick up on the same things. Thanks for the great feedback!

Thanks for checking in and following along! Definitely excited to see what Nicholas can do. You bring up a great point though. I think his ability to make those tough catches will differentiate him between just a fast deep threat and that true game changer. Hope you continue to follow along and check in!

Thanks for checking in fellas. No injury slider on the '12 version of the game. I have always been pretty content with the amount and numbers of injuries I have seen in this game. I know in later versions it became a bigger problem.
Thank you all for the patience and continuing to check in. I am hoping to get the Northwestern game played and posted in the next few days. Hoping to get life into a more regular routine and to be able to get back to working on this regularly.
