| Game Notes | The Arkansas State Red Wolves host Sun Belt rival, Louisiana Monroe in week 11 conference action. The Red Wolves are coming off a win after trailing for over 30 minutes against South Alabama. As well are the Warhawks, winning 2 straight at home. The Warhawks are winless on the road this season, and will be looking to stay in the hunt for the Sun Belt championship by changing that against Arkansas State.
This game could be a high scoring affair, with both defense's allowing bottom 10 ranked yardage this season. Both teams have the worst two turnover differentials in the FBS on the season as well. UL Monroe will look to their passing game, while the Red Wolves should focus on their mixed attack on the offensive side of the ball.
If the Red Wolves want to remain at the top of the table, they will need to limit turnovers, stop the rushing attack of the Warhawks, and put up an offensive performance like that of the fourth quarter in Mobile.
If the Warhawks want to upset the Red Wolves, and stay in the hunt for the Sun Belt trophy, they will need to limit Fredi Knighten's dual threat ability, stop the rushing attack, and force a few turnovers. They should look to exploit Arkansas State's ability to stop the option attack.
