HUGE pickups in the recruiting game. As we all know, recruiting is really where a program is made, and this has the makings of a dominant defense! BOTH of the top 2 in the nation? Hot diggity! lol, it's got the makings of a great class.

Love the recruit graphics, throwing a real face on them. How are you getting the "action shots" if you will, of them on the field? Are you creating teams and loading them up just to get pictures? If so, that's serious commitment.

As you say, recruiting is where you can build the foundations of a dynasty and I really feel like these two pickups can really start the process of getting this Longhorns team back to dominance. We had to work on Cook, but we had Griffith pretty much locked up from day one so it felt good to get both guys in the end.

For the ESPN graphic, I search for a head I like (That kinda matches his in game pic) and then do a head swap with a real life recruit, takes a little blending here and there but its easy enough.

With the on the field pictures it is just about finding out a high school program that is in or around the area the recruit is from in the game (I normally search google, or find a guy on rivals/scout/ESPN who comes from the same area. It is then just about searching that school and state on Team builder, downloading the already pre built high school and then going into play now and finding a guy on the roster in the position that is as close to the height/weight combo as your recruit, if there isn't one then I create him in RTG and snap pictures that way. It is an effort, and adds time to each report but I feel like it adds another layer of realism to your report so to speak.

Damn that's some serious dedication. I've thought about doing something similar but never wanted to do all that lol.

Cook needs to get that weight up lol.

Although, he could transition into a nice hard hitting safety possibly, now that I think about it...

Two high scoring offenses and strong run defenses. Iowa State should have that wide receiver whose name escapes me, you'll have to gameplan for him as well.

EDIT: Allen Lazard is the guy

Two high scoring offenses indeed, and my defense hasn’t exactly been playing well, look ag where we rank defending the pass .. Allen Lazard is always a problem, has been in all my Big 12 dynasties.

Editors Note: Been a busy few days here, will have the Iowa State game played this weekend.
