Very much intrigued by your radical conference reorganizations. I did something similar with a recent dynasty where I wanted to insert an old Teambuilder custom school... but I really only messed with the Big10 and MAC. I might just blatantly steal this setup ...errr... I mean take inspiration from your ideas for my next dynasty. Will be following along.

Would love to compare and see how teams do. Obviously different starting rosters could make a big difference.
.
I am most excited to see if some of the Mid-level SEC teams like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miss State can find success in other conferences ..

Also will the Texas Conference always be dominated by Texas and Texas AM or will someone else join them

PANTHERS STRUGGLES CONTINUE

Georgia State opened the game vs Auburn looking for their first SEC win of the season but after taking a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, the Panthers players were M.I.A.

The offense went cold failing to produce any points well the defense gave up 13 2nd Quarter points leaving GSU trailing (13-10) at the half.

Things didn't improve in the 2nd half either as the Tigers extend their lead with a 96 yd "Pick 6" INT to make it (20-10) as we head to the 4th.

The Georgia State D actually did well as they limit Auburn to just a 19 yd FG, so when you think about it they really only gave up 1 touchdown all game.

FINAL SCORE AUBURN-23 GEORGIA STATE-10

KEY STATS
Georgia State turned the ball over 4 times. QB C. Handy was 10/16 for 147 yds with 2 INT, well starter M. Mullins was 8/20 for 133 yds 1 TD and 2 INT

RB J. Durbin just missed breaking the 100 yd mark finishing with 26 carries for 95 yds

TE L. Pitts led the team with 6 rec for 85 yds. WR J. Reed added 4 rec for 47 yds and a score.

PANTHERS PULL OFF 4TH QUARTER COMEBACK WIN!!!

The Georgia State Panthers got their first SEC win of the season and snapped a 3 game losing streak as they score 22 points in the 4th quarter to upset the (4-4) Flordia Atlantic Owls.

FAU took the lead in the 1st Quarter scoring TD's on 4th down plays, as QB D. Pearson finds K. Alstson for back to back scores.

GSU settles for a 36 yd FG by S. Watson to at least get points on the board.

FAU adds to their lead in the 2nd Quarter as Pearson goes to the air and connects with G. Jones to make it (21-3) at the half.

The Panthers however were not ready to give up as they go to the ground game and SR RB J. Durbin. Durbin delivers scoring 2 of his game high/season high 4 TD's. FAU also adds a rushing TD of their own as they take the (28-17) lead in the 4th.

GSU scores early in the 4th as Durbin rumbles in for this 3rd score of the day. The Panthers go for 2 and convert making it a 3 point game (28-25). FAU's QB D. Pearson wasn't ready to just give up though as he connects on a 2 play 75 yd drive including a 52 yd TD bomb making i (35-25) with under 4 minutes to play.

Georgia State sticking with what was working despite limited time continues to feed James Durbin the rock as Durbin delivers this 4th score the day. A new school record.

Down (35-32) with 2:40 to play, the Panthers staff is forced to make a tough decision. Attempt the onside kick in hopes of getting the ball, or putting the game into the hands of the Defense.

Coach Vader elects to kickoff and the decision pays off as the Panthers D forces a quick 4 and out, with 1:45 to play.

Armed with 1 timeout still, QB M. Mullins puts the Panthers on his shoulders as he scrambles for a 20 yd gain. Then after a 12 yd pass to L. Pitts, Mullins finds WR J. Rodgers on a 9 yd strike for a 1st down on a 3rd and 8 play putting the Panthers in Field Goal range. But the play comes at a cost as Rodgers is forced to leave the game.

Already shorthanded at WR, with #1 WR S. Brown out for the year, Georgia State is forced to to finish the game with just 3 active WR's on the roster. with 41 seconds on the clock, Mullins comes up huge as he scrambles right, FB D. Griffin breaks free up the middle with no defender in site. Mullins finds the JR Fullback for his 1st catch of the season a 18 yd strike for the score as GSU takes the lead.

FINAL SCORE GSU-39 FAU-35

KEY PLAYERS
QB M. Mullins 19/35 319 yds 1 TD 1 INT, 9 carries 34 yds
QB C. Handy-8/16 142 yds 1 INT, 1 Fumble
RB J. Durbin-19 carries 35 yds
TE L. Pitts-8 rec 170 yds
WR J. Rodgers-7 rec 105 yds
FB D. Grffin-1 rec 18 yds 1 TD

THE PANTHERS ARE NOW 3-5 AS THEY WILL TRAVEL TO MIAMI FL TO TAKE ON THE (5-3) HURRICANES

WEEK 10 TEAM REPORT

Roster Moves

With another injury to the Wide Receiver core, Coach Deuce Vader is forced to pull Freshman WR's Marcus Wright and Antonio Adkins off their redshirts.

Vader
Quote:
"We hate the fact we had these 2 young men sit out 10 weeks of the season and forfeit their Redshirt year, but if we are going to compete we need help"
Wright (63 OVR) will slide into the #3 role, well Adkins (62 OVR) will play alot of downs as the #4 WR. Adkins gives QB M. Mulllins another big target inside the redzone at 6'4 185 lbs.

Wright and Adkins were not the only 2 players giving up the redshirt season.

6'4 220 lb SO QB Brandon Franklin (64 OVR) will also be activated and moved into the #2 QB role behind SR Matt Mullins (71 OVR), as Week 1 starter SO C. Handy (71 OVR) is demoted to 3rd string.

Vader
Quote:
"Again it's never easy to pull a player off his redshirt so late in the season, but after Handy threw his 12 INT of the year, I knew we needed to have another option at QB, if Mullins was to get hurt or need to miss a play here and there. He has taken alot of hits this year and we still have some very tough games left. It's not fair to the rest of the team to just pack it in and not try and improve our chances for a victory"
Rumors are already floating that Handy will most likely try his Hand at the Transfer Portal at the end of the season.

RECRUITING

The Panthers didn't just make changes with this year's roster with the addition of Wright, Adkins and Franklin to the depth chart, they also had some huge additions for next years roster as well over the past 3 weeks.

Despite the loss against Auburn, the Panthers secured 2 commitments. GSU then added to that total signing 8 more players for a total of 10 of their 25 scholarships given out. Here is a look at the players who have signed so far.

QB Colt Huff (6'7 214lb 3* Ranked #37 out of Valdosta Georgia)

"Huff comes in with a Overall SPARQ score of 69. Despite being 6'7 and over 200lbs, Huff has some wheels with scouts giving him a 84 speed rating"

P/PK Zach Reese (Rated a 2* and the #31 P in the class has a SPARQ score of 67)
"With current PK S. Watson only a Junior, Reese will most likely see a Redshirt next year with hopes that he could handle all kicking duties in 2 years"

HB Reggies Jones (A 3* Ranked #86 in the nation. Jones is a 5'11 206lb speedster out of Snyder Texas)
"Jones was given a SPARQ score of 65, but with 89 Speed and 84 Acceleration, the staff feels he has the potential to see the field as a returner next season"

WR'S- Tommy Gray (3* Ranked #93) and Casey Cunningham (3* Ranked #124).
"Gray and Cunningham balance each other well and will provide nice depth next season with the graduation of Brown and Reed. Gray is a 5'11 speedster in the mold of Brown, well Cunningham is 6'4 and is a huge redzone target like Reed."

O-Line
Tackles-Jordan White (3* #48, Rated 72 OVR), Brandon Freeman (3* #82 Rated 71 OVR) and Guard Mike Bullock (3* #83, Rated 65).

"White and Freeman are huge at 6'7 and 6'6 both weighing in over 300lbs. These guys should be instant starters and have the potential to be 4 year starters giving Coach Vader a great line to build around. Bullock is also pretty big at 6'4 290lbs. Well White and Freeman excel in pass blocking, Bullock is a road grader with 78 RB.. He too has the potential to start next year."

Well landing 8 players on the Offensive side of the ball is a great start to the rebuild, we can't forget about the Defense and the Unkown.

On the Defensive side of the ball, the Panthers landed their best player so far of this year's class in JUCO DE Paul Arnold.

"Rated only the 176 best DE in his class and a 2* , Arnold shocked scouts with 75 SPARQ score, getting labeled a diamond in the making. Only 6'1 and 253 lbs, there is a good chance Arnold could slide into a OLB role next season"

Sometimes when you roster has so many holes in it, you just get to the point where you are willing to plug them with just the best player you can find regardless of where they play.

That's Athlete Pierre Jacobs. (Ranked only a 2* and the #62 ATH in the class, Jacobs has the size to play multiple spots on the field, at 6'3 215lbs)

"Overlooked because of his 2* label, Jacobs is exactly the type of guy Coach Vader wants to build his team around. Team Scouts believe his SPARQ score to be closer to a 71 Overall, with the ability to play both sides of the ball. He is fast (90 speed, 90 acceleration), he has great hands (75 catch) he also has a pretty nice arm (80 THP 84 THA). but thats not all he has 73 Man Coverage, 70 Zone and 78 Press."

Vader
Quote:
"To be honest we wont know until Week 1 next year where Jacobs will play. Who knows maybe he will end up on both sides of the ball, or maybe he will be the guy leading the entire team in the huddle"

PANTHERS FALL YET AGAIN (59-31)!!!

The Georgia State Panthers vs Miami Hurricanes game this week could be titled "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly".

The Good

GSU managed to score 31 points against the Canes.

RB J. Durbin breaks the 100 yd mark for the 4th time this season with 25 carries for 108 yds and scores his 14th TD of the year (A school record)

TE L. Pitts breaks the school record for most receptions in a season with 7 rec for 118 yds and 2 TD's. He is also on pace to smash the single season yard's and TD's as well. He currently has 60 rec for 926 yds and 6 scores.

Freshman WR's Adkins (3-42) and Wright (2-20) both make some solid plays in their debut.

The Bad

QB M. Mullins got hurt early in the 3rd Quarter. He threw 2 early picks but had managed to throw 3 TD's and and complete 14/27 for 188 yds before getting hurt.

GSU manages just 10 points in the 2nd half.

The Ugly

The GSU Pass Defense gives up 476 yds and 6 TD's to Cane's QB M. Mitchell.

WR A. Sanders torches the secondary for 9 rec for 231 yds and 2 scores.

The Panthers give up 59 points total in the loss. It's the 3rd time this season a team has score 50+ points against them.

FR QB B. Franklin completes just 8/16 for 115 yds in mop up duty which sounds okay until you add the 3 INT's.

Georgia State QB's have now thrown a combined 27 INt's on the season.

Next Week Preview

Things won't get any easier for the Panthers next week as they take on instate rival #16 Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are (8-1) on the season including a win over #3 Alabama. Their only loss was (38-10) to Auburn in Week 3.

Georgia Tech currently boasts the #1 Rushing attack in the nation. SR RB M. Matt Cooke has 186 carries for 1004 yds and 11 TD's after taking over for D. Harper (125 carries 626 yds 10 TD's), who got hurt in Week 6.

QB L. Galloway is one of the best dual threat QB's in the nation. He has 987 yds passing with 8 TD's to go along with 967 yds and 10 TD's on the ground. He has thrown 7 INT's this year. So there is hope he might give GSU a opportunity or 2.

The Panthers then will face LSU at home in Week 12,before finishing out the season on the road against (1-10) South Alabama. The only team currently with a worse record in the SEC then Georgia State.

WEEK 11 TOP-25 POLL

Well we are 11 weeks into the season and after #2 Oregon's (49-28) loss to #12 Stanford last week, we are down to just 2 teams with a perfect record intact #1 (9-0) Ohio State who came up big beating #5 Notre Dame this past week (38-7) and #12 (9-0) Iowa who is loving their move to CUSA.

Here is a look at the Current Top-25 and some of their big games left on their schedule.

#1 Ohio State (9-0). The Buckeyes biggest challenge to end the year will be a home matchup with (5-4) Michigan

#2 Georgia (8-1). The Bulldogs still have 2 huge games with #3 Alabama and #16 Georgia Tech. At least both are at home.

#3 Alabama (8-1) The Tide have (6-3) Tennessee and (5-4) Auburn at home but #2 Georgia on the road stands in their way for a chance at the National Title.

#4 UCLA (8-1). The Bruins biggest test will come in the form of (6-3) Washington and (7-3) USC.

#5 TCU (7-2). The highest ranked 2 loss team. TCU's biggest challenge will come in the Big 12 Title game most likely against #10 Texas.

#6 South Carolina (9-1). #22 Arkansas this week on the road and a home game vs rival (6-3) Clemson to end the year.

#7 Oregon (9-1). The Ducks are coming off their first loss and now they have to face #15 (8-1) Boise State on the Blue, with a Mountain West title chance and Rose Bowl bid on the line. They also have to play (6-3) Oregon State on the road in the Civil War to end the season.

#8 Oklahoma State (7-2) The Cowboy's have instate rival #18 (6-3) Oklahoma to close out their season.

#9 Stanford (7-3). The Cardinals move up 3 spots after beating the Ducks, but still have a tough road ahead with (7-3) USC and #14 (7-3) Notre Dame

#10 Texas (8-1) They face #11 (8-1) Texas A&M next week for a chance at a Big 12 Title and Fiesta Bowl bid.

#11 Texas A&M (8-1) See Above...

#12 Iowa (9-0). The Hawkeyes have to face #24 (8-1) Illinios and (5-4) Michigan at home plus a (6-4) Nebraska team on the road to close out the year. Even if they win all 3, I don't think they will get a National Title bid. But a undefeated season and a Orange Bowl win could go along way in helping establish them as a favorite in the new CUSA/American rivalries.

#13 KSU (7-3). The Wildcats have a pretty easy schedule moving forward. They could easily finish with 10 wins which should help them moving forward as they look to build themselves a solid foundation.

#14 Notre Dame (7-3). Coming off a loss and dropping from #5, the Irish will need to win their matchup with Stanford to get back in the Top-10.

#15 Boise State (8-1). A win next week over Oregon next week will be huge even if the Ducks dropped from #2 to #7. A win means a Mountain West title most likely and a spot in the Rose Bowl. **Boise's 1 loss this year was in Week 3 against #25 Fresno State**

#16 Georgia Tech (8-1). The Yellowjackets should have zero issues with the Panthers this week and are already probably looking forward to the #2 Bulldogs in rivalry week.

#17 Virginia Tech (8-1). The Hokies are in a great position to win their division and a chance to play for the ACC title.

#18 Oklahoma (6-3). The Sooners just care about 1 thing. Beating #8 OSU.

#19 Mississippi State (8-2). The Bulldogs are having a solid season no longer in the SEC. They should/could finish with 10 wins

#20 Florida (7-2). The Gators should finish out the season and win the division. The question is who will they be playing for a SEC title and a chance at the Sugar Bowl.

#21 Arkansas (8-2). The Hogs are dominating the SunBelt. Even with a loss next week to #6 South Carolina, they should finish the year with 10 wins and hopefully earn their way back into the SEC after their 3 year suspension.

#22 NC State (7-3). The Wolfpack are having a solid season. No big games left.

#23 Ole Miss (6-2). Similar to their instate rivals Miss State. The Rebels seem to be enjoying their move away from the SEC

#24 Illinois (8-1). See above Sub Big Ten for SEC. The Fight gets real next week against #12 undefeated Iowa.

#25 Fresno State (8-2). The Bulldogs are off to a solid start in the new Pac-12. Both loss's come against Top-10 teams #4 UCLA and #9 Stanford and they boast a huge win over rival Boise State. The Bulldogs biggest challenge will come in the Pac-12 title game most likely a rematch game vs the Bruins.
